Gothika the movie..should it be shown at school?

Ok, out of all the REALLY good rated R movies, why show Gothika? that was just a bad movie. :confused3 I can see where you're upset, and it was a bad judgement call.

I am absolutely shocked. :earseek: Gothica is not a movie to show at that age/grade. I was scared watching the movie. As the previous post mentioned the violence, sexual content, language are just few things that is so inappropriate for kids this age. I can't believe someone at that school thought Gothica was a good choice for a movie.

Wow, I like that movie and actually own it, but I'm surprised to hear they showed it at a school. Usually the schools err on the side of overly cautious. I remember at one school gathering for Valentine's Day they showed us Cinderella, and we were in high school!

While I'm sure most of the kids there have seen worse (or at least as bad), and it won't scar them for life, it was out of line on the school's part.

Showing Gothika was wrong. Should have been Carrie.

Wonderful film, I have it on right now in my dorm. What about Cruel Intentions?

I've seen it and I'm really surprised they are showing it in schools.
