GOTG advice

I am planning to be there for the opening of GOTG. I wanted to know what predictions/thoughts you all might have for how to best enjoy this? We are thinking to get to the park early (grabbing breakfast on the go to munch in line). Can't decide if we should grab fast passes or just head right over and get in line? None of my group have been to a ride opening before so I would appreciate any input.
