got visa, what do you do next?

I have the visa, now who do i call to see if I am eligible for the deal?

At the 800 number on the back of the card. Ask to verify that you qualify for the "7 for 4 February Aquisition Promotion". You had to apply for the card between sometime in February and March 31, 2004.

Once you have verified with Disney Visa, call WDTC and give them your dates and tell them you are a new Disney Visa cardholder and want to book using the "7 for 4 Disney Deal".

Rooms are limited under this promotion. Best bet is to have a choice of at least resorts you are interested in.

Book by 4/30 and travel between 5/1 and 10/31. As long as the first night of your trip is in Oct, you're good.

I applied for our Disney Visa about 10 days ago and my application is still under review. Is there any way to speed this up? The codes you guys are talking about here would they be for me---our reservations are for 4-11-04 til 4-17-04 at the YC. I thought those would not be out until early May.

I called yesterday and asked for the ZXRA code and it was invalid.

she then called Visa, which I had already done and got approval from them for the plan.
So the code does not do it.

You can call 1-877-252-6576 and select option 2. If it's still under review, there is not much you can do. I was approved in 2 days.

Once approved, call cardmember services @ 800-300-8575 and ask them to overnight your cards. They sent mine(another set) 2 day air even though a set had been mailed out for 7-10 day delivery.

You can also ask them, at the above number, if you qualify for the offer.

Your dates are fine.

Hi Budget Mom and welcome to the DISboards.

I'll be at the BC the same time that you'll be at the YC. My dates are 7/10-7/15. Maybe we'll cross paths at SAB or Beaches & Cream!

Right now, there are no codes out for after 7/4 that I'm aware of (Disney VISA or otherwise). Since most of the current codes expire on 4/17/04, I'm hoping that the codes for late summer will be coming out the following week or soon afterwards.

In any event, you should have your VISA by then. Keep an eye on these boards. Someone always seems to know when the codes are coming out even before they are made available!

Thanks mad4themouse-I won't panic yet. I did find out why my application is taking soooo long, we moved last year. Now visa has no proof that I am who I say I am. Needless to say I'm more than frusterated, but I am working on getting everything they need to them. I'll be the crazy mom with 3 wild kids!

I also just got my card yesterday and called Disney to book. I told them I was a new cardholder and wanted to book a package using the ZXRA code. He took my name, last 4 digits of my new card and address and called Bank One. And that was it. I was approved and booked without a problem. I'm pretty sure we never received the flyer in the mail for the promotion, so I don't think it hurts to try. Staying at the POFQ Oct 23-Oct 30, $1300.00 for two.

I just think it's a matter of who you get on the phone when you call customer service.....

I don't think she's looking for a code. I believe she wants to take advantage of the Disney Visa "7 for 4 February Aquisition Promotion".

She said she applied before the deadline of 3/31 and her dates of travel fall within the range.

It's possible she may qualify for booking YC 7 nights for the price of 4.

I just called disney and asked if I would be eligilble for the 7 for 4 promotion if I had the disney visa card. She said no because you would have to use a pin code from the mailer that only certain card holders recieved from disney visa. The promotions coming out later this spring---will some be for non disney visa cardholders?

Is it the price of 4 nights at rack rate? We're going for seven nights in May, but before I sat through the phone call, wanted to know if it would even be a better deal for us. We've got TWO rooms at POFQ for $74 a night each room for 7 nights - total right at $1150 (can't remember exactly).
