Got to take my Dad to WDW for the first time!

So my father drove down from NY to look at houses in Celebration and drop off his second car for us to use. We just lost the transmission on ours I got him a 3 day pass to WDW and we visited Epcot, MK and AK. He had a blast-it was his first time at age 60 He said he felt like a kid again. He went on Spaceship Earth, Test Track, Malestrom, El Rio, American Adventure, Big Thunder, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, TTA, Carousel of Progress, Pirates, the MK steam train, the monorail, Kilimanjaro Safari. It was really nice to see him have a good time. I told him he has to get a seasonal pass if they (my parents) move to Celebration!

you're never too old for the Mouse...

I was an adult when we got to go to WDW for the first time. I will never forget walking into MK and just looking @ Main St. I was in awe...and a kid forever more.

Our family of 9 (my mom, dad, 2 sisters, 1 brother, my hubby, me, DS14, DD5) have traveled together since our first trip in '96. We love it and don't want to try it w/out them!

Great job taking your Dad and letting him be a kid again! Nope, I don't think I'll ever be too old my Mickey place.

Patricia - glad to see your dad is hooked on WDW I know quite a few dads how are hooked including myself. As a matter of fact, I have made my DW and DD hooked. Just yesterday my DD said, " Dad, I want to go to Disney World again!)
PS we just got back and wants to go again!

Glad your Dad had fun!

I was just watching some home-video of some of our WDW trips yesterday. Two of the trips were ones where we had brought my parents. Nothing better than sharing Disney with my DS, DH & my parents. They love it as much as we do & wound up going back for a couples only trip after 3 trips with us.

I was thinking yesterday, it's time for them to come down with us again.....Hmmmmmm.......

We asked if he wanted to do this but he said next time. I think he liked the rides too much He expressed a lot of interest in the Richard Petty experience too. We did go on the Segway tour for the second time with our friend Saturday and he loved it!
