Got the munchies for Marigolds, hungry for Honeysuckle?

Edible Flowers

Are any Buds into eating flowers? That doesn't sound quite right does it..lol!

I've consumed a couple, usually at restaurants, as a garnish on a salad or desert, but I don't use them at home. A Marigold and Peanut Butter sandwich just doesn' t seem right somehow.....

Do you enjoy - Edible Flowers?

no! Yuck! Just the smell of marigolds and the thought of eating one doesn't settle right with me. About as close as I would get would be the blooms from a chive...those cute little purple flowers. But I'd have to think really hard about it first.

I have some Nasturtiums. Abigail took a taste and calls them the peppery plant now. She thought they tasted peppery.

I also have chives. I have sent the chive and nasturtium flowers to the restaurant for plate decorations.
