Got a serviceberry tree, 2 foxgloves, & 2 cardinal flowers..:bounce: :bounce:
The serviceberry tree was $70 off to boot...:bounce:

A savvy bargain hunter!! Bravo, sounds like you got a great deal, shep! :)

Is the tree going in the front yard? :)

The tree will be going in the back yard...
The serviceberries are edible...if you can beat the SONG birds to them...After the salesman said songbirds I said SOLD!!
Now if I can attract the hummingbirds and butterflies...:yo-yo:

I have several nut bearing trees that attract squirrels.

Be glad to sell them to you cheap.

BE GLAD TO GIVE THEM TO YOU!!!

I have 2 or 3 squirrels in my backyard already...lol..
One of the neat things about winter is watching them jump branches in the trees..:sunny:

I have a squirrel convention in my backyard each and every year. Millions of them stop on buy to pick up a nut, bury it in my flowers and annoy me half to death. They scare me, first off, so I'm always shoo-ing them.

I sound like an old lady, don't I????

I'll trade ya some squirrels for some moles...
My yard looks like a maze...

I've got a couple of moles running around too.

I guess I probably have grubs too, that's usually what attracts the moles.

I'd better get a grub treatment down - they can really mess up a yard!

The moles are feeding on the cicadas that will be coming out next year...:earseek:

Great deal on your tree Shep. Happy planting:)
Are they all in a spot you can see from the house?

Gina, Trade ya' groundhogs for your squirrels and I'll throw in some grubs too.

Slim, I thought it was Japanese beetles not cicadas that are the grubs that the moles eat? Sounds like a song... anyway I've got them too but there is no way I can keep them under control.

They can be seen by looking out mu back window..But I hope to be sitting among them next year...

Shep, that'll be so nice to be able to attract songbirds and have a lovely tree too. I don't think I've ever seen or heard a songbird but the name sounds heavenly.
Going to look them up in my bird book now, BB
