Got SDMT Fastpass!!!!

I've been trying for hours. Nothing but error message. DH tried on his computer. Same deal. I am really not feeling any love for Disney or their IT dept right now.

It took me all day trying to get the FP's for all 3 of our MK days on our trip. 90% of the time I had the Olaf or Donald screen telling me I was out of luck. From an IT standpoint.... the system just wasn't built to handle this kind of traffic. And it shouldn't have to. We're talking about a landslide of users for a couple of days when something new opens. How often does something new open? It's frustrating, but it's the same kind of thing that happens every time a new MMO goes live.

Not that it necessarily means anything, but when I was on the phone with tech support a couple of hours ago, they said the only days that there were no FP available, that they were showing were totally booked were the first couple of days. So, there probably really are no more left.

I'm sure you're right. I'll just keep lurking and hope someone decides it's not that big of a deal and cancel a bunch of FPS!

I know that Disney wanted their precious moment for the unveiling of the new attraction but really, by now they could have anticipated these problems. It would have made so much more sense to start feeding the FP's into the system at the respective 60 and 30 day windows. This would have controlled the traffic on the site to a large extent. Now we have several weeks worth of windows instead of a day at a time ......

I don't know about a "landslide" of users. How many people have trips planned for May 28th to June 30th (or whatever the last day of the 60-day window is) who knew about the dedication today and knew they'd be able to go online and book FPs? I'm guessing it's not a huge number.

And lots of people have been on to try to book A&E each day and it doesn't cause this to happen.

Still a big, giant fail by Disney in my book.

There are strong indications that Disney is still holding back a percentage of FP's for the day of. Make sure you are logged in first thing in the morning when you are there and try again for it. Wishing you the very best.

Got ours for June 23 and 27. Looks like lots of times still available. Took quite a while this afternoon with the glitchy website, but it seems to be running a little smoother now (I went back in and adjusted times). Of course, now I've given up FP for other attractions I had booked so my fingers will be crossed that those lines aren't too bad.

I got mine the same day for 9:35 - 10:35. What time did you get ? I did go back to see if I could change the time and it said you have no fastpasses for this day YIKES ! But when I went back to check my reservations it shows up on there.

I got 11:15-12:15. I was so surprised that it popped up that I didn't think too much about the time and just took whatever was on there, plus I was at work. When I go back to look it shows up on some places (my general itinerary) but not others (specific plans for that day). I am just going to leave it be with all the issues people seem to be having on here. Congrats on getting through and getting one!

Got mine for June 30th. I went through reservations and tickets and viewed my fast passes. Then I changed those. Worked like a charm. Why do I feel like when I go back and check, they will be gone?

Are you able to get them before park opening, maybe while standing in line? We always try to get to a park well before RD.

Got ours for the last day of our trip! It's a long ride home and hopefully this FP+ along with the one for Anna and Elsa and Meeting Mickey will make the drive home a little smoother. Can't wait!!

About 30 minutes ago, I tried to swap out one of our existing attractions for 7DMT and ... after many error messages ... I ended up with 4 FP+ reservations for the day (June 11). It added 7DMT, but did not drop the old reservation.

My only problem is that it added 7DMT just after lunch ... and we don't plan on visiting the Magic Kingdom that day until later that evening. When I go into the change FP times area, I'm not even able to see my 7DMT selection to try to change it. Grrrrrr! (It definitely still shows up in my itinerary page for that day.)

Woo hoo!!! Got what I wanted. I was able to change our 1:55 Space Mountain on June 23 for 7DMT.

I went in through tickets and reservations and viewed our fastpasses and changed it that way.

So excited!

Made our FP+ selection for 7DMT at 6ish am this morning for the 29th. First day in the parks and first FP of our trip. Glad I read about it in the wee hours this morning and missed the computer glitching!
