I wanted to make sure everyone was ready for an update today -- I am so used to getting updates done on the weekend. I just realized I will have more frequent updates these next 12 days to fit everything in.

 

[Charleston Princess]

After planning our return to WDW for almost a year, suddenly the days are flying by. I can't quite believe that we are only twelve days away, but the Countdown Calendar is always right!

This morning while Charles and I were having our morning coffee, we had the following conversation.

Charles: You know, the jolt from coffee is never long-lived. It's very temporary. That's why I like energy drinks better.

Me: Well, that's because there is about ten times more caffeine in an energy drink.

Charles: And assorted herbs.

Me: Yeah, that ginseng will send a person soarin'.

(Pause while we sipped our coffee).

Me: Hey, guess what? In twelve days, we will be Soarin'. (Laughing at my own wit).

Charles: (Laughing). I just knew you were going to say that.

Afterwards, we went to get his hair cut and buy him some new shorts. Now everyone has had new haircuts, and we are all set on clothes. I wish it was time to go ahead and start packing.

When we got home, Chelsea and I did a little crafty project. When I received our new Celebration-themed luggage tags in the mail, I decided I wanted to add some pizazz to them. I found rhinestone Mickey heads and ribbon at Hobby Lobby.

Chelsea and I love how they turned out!

I also thought I would share my souvenir wish list. I have kept a running list of things I want to make sure to remember to look at and/or buy while we are down there (in 12 days ). I am sure I will be buying other things, but I didn't want to forget any of these.

Like I said a few days ago, I can't believe this PTR has been going since September. The time has surely flown by.

I love the way you're luggage tags came out! So cute! That Where the Magic Lives CD sounds really cool, I'm about to go see if I can find it on ebay!

I'm so excited for you! In less than 2 weeks you'll be walking down the middle of Main Street U.S.A. (but you don't, necessarily, have to sing the song ). Here's hoping that the next 12 days just fly by and your there before you know it.

Jackie, you guys are SO crafty!!! LOVE the luggage tags! I am soooooo jealous of your 12 days!! I am stealing from your souveneir list...GREAT idea by the way, I have NEVER thought to do that!! Might stop me from compulsive shopping I will be looking for you to tell me EXACTLY where you were able to buy that "Where the magic lives" CD!

I think a shopping list is a very good idea....it can be so over-whelming once you get there it's easy to forget something that you really wanted.

CP, those luggage tags turned out very snazzy. I think my girls would love to make some of those with me. Mind if I borrow your idea?

Haircuts are on this week's to do list for the boys, and next week's for the girls. Got to look good for Mickey.

Your luggage tags came out great. It's funny but luggage tags are something I really miss doing room only reservations instead of packages. I was so disappointed when "all" I got were the ugly yellow ME stickers. It's the little things, I guess.

LOVE your souvenir list. The tote bag is definitely on mine as well. And can't wait to check out Tren-D. And if I had more wall space another Larry Dotson print would be on the list as well.

I am SO looking forward to your trip!!

I can't believe it's only 12 days away!! I'm getting so excited for you!

I love how you jazzed up the tags, they look awesome. I never thought to do that, but I have mine hanging up on the Disney corkboard in my room.

I also need to find that Where the Magic Lives CD. I borrowed my mom's Four Parks, One World CD to put on my laptop, and I have the Wishes soundtrack as well, but I never heard of the one that you're looking for.

I can't remember if I told you this, but your countdown calendar is great. I'm not crafty enough to come up with something like that; I just stuck the numbered Mickey heads on my door and called it a day.

Your tags are CUTE!!!!!! What a great way to spice it up! I love crafting. Especially Disney things. I'll reuse my countdown calendar for next year, since I made it a flip calendar. 12 days is not long at ALL!

I got an address book last summer and I love it. It has different characters on each of the letter dividers. I needed a new one and it wasn't too expensive. I will also be coming home with a Mickey Bar tote!
