Got Pixie Dust? A June 2009 PTR ~TR Link, Page 180

So someone wanted to go over the ADRs tonight and then made some comments! :headache: I told him it was too late for that.

What a great post about Epcot! I think the park has so much to offer, and there is so much my family has not done yet. I can't wait to see more of the WSC, and catch the parts of Futureland we didn't get to last time. Good luck tomorrow morning -- you know we will all be waiting to hear the news!! :thumbsup2

Thanks! Epcot is really neat -- it seems like the one park where there is always something still to be done for us!

I trired to be OCD like that, I like the thought of it, but well....it doesn't happen! So, "Make the Season Bright" has been our notepad for about a year now. Thankfully it's almost out of paper, unfortunatly, I believe the only other one we have left is also Christmas themed.

:rotfl2: I love how you jerked awake! I so understand. For the November trip I woke up and was going about my morning stuff then suddenly realized what that day was! :scared1: I freaaaaaaaaaaaked! Joe just laughed at me. It was past 8 am, I was freakin' that I would totally mess up our plans!

Thankfully, I got everything I wanted still!

Anyway - love the Epcot pictures! The classic one of you in that stylin' flowered outfit tops the cake. I believe I might have had that same outfit, or something very similar - pastel colors, pinkish and purple, light blue, etc. I thought it was soooooo pretty! :rotfl:

Love the pics of Chelsea as a baby too-so sweet! :cutie:

You need to make a point to buy some new notepads. ;)

My alarm and coffee pot are set, and I have already changed all the clocks.

Thanks! I thought my shorts set was really pretty in 1987. It went well with my feathered hairstyle. :rotfl2:

Hi Jackie! I'm back!

I missed so much...

I have to catch up now!

Welcome back, Julie! I don't think you missed too, too much. We went to King Tut, I changed to AKL, and we just paid off the trip. Tomorrow I finally get to make ADRs.

Enjoyed seeing your trips through Epcot! Good Luck with your ADR's tomorrow!

Thank you! I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve!

He can't mess with your plans like that!!! What is he thinking!? Tell him to put his Disney Lover hat on and he'll realize the error of his ways. ;)

I am so excited for you! I'm going to have to get up early just so I can see your post! :lmao:

He's in one of those, "Let me see how much I can annoy Jackie moods." :headache:

I am not looking forward to giving up sleep tomorrow morning, but I am thinking I should be able to fit in a nap tomorrow afternoon.

Those kinds of moods are oh so much fun. :headache:

I napped for like....three hours this afternoon. :rolleyes1 In my defense I wasn't feeling well but I got NO PACKING accomplished. Remind me of this if I want to move again anytime soon, okay? :rotfl2:

Thanks for a great Epcot through the years treat at the end of a busy day!
The kids are so sweet! I love the French beret pictures. One of my very favorite pictures of Drew is when he was about five at Epcot wearing a blue painting smock and beret posing for a picture.

Good luck with all of those ADR hopes! Oughta be a fun morning!

May you be dreaming of a successful ADR morning! Looking forward to seeing how you do!

Love the EPCOT updates.. I agree EPCOT has grown on me too!

A three hour nap sounds lovely!!!

I hate moving! We will probably stay in this house forever because I hate moving so much!

I should know shortly how I do on the ADR front!

We've had so much fun at Epcot the last couple of years!

Sending lots of pixiedust: so you get the ADRs you desire!!

Kathy

Thank you! :goodvibes

Good luck with the ADRs!! Im sure you will get what you want ;)

Everyone seems to be doing pretty well getting what they want, so I hope the streak of luck continues for me.

Luke wanted me to keep you company as you are making your ADRs this morning:rotfl2: ... hope you post soon (with ADRs done and with all your first choices!)

Still on hold -- coming up on twenty minutes. I got a CM as soon as I called, but she had to transfer me because of my arrival date. I just got to listen to the Splash Mountain music -- you get to ride that this year! :goodvibes

I've got no little one at home to blame it on...I'm just here all on my own for ADR watch duty.

I may be already gone to church before it's all in place. In that case, I'll check in this afternoon to see and hear about all the great eating you've gotten in place!

Heavens I hope you haven't already gone to church by the time I am finished! :scared:

I am now listening to the Haunted Mansion music -- at least they have good hold music.

Loved the pictures Jackie - it's so wonderful that you were able to capture so many great memories over the years. And what a wonderful way to watch the kids grow up - through pictures at WDW! :goodvibes

Thank you! I love seeing how they have changed, but yet stay the same through all those pictures. Connor's been posing with swords for five years.

Last night before I went to bed, I got everything set and ready on the kitchen table for Operation ADR.

What were the most important items necessary for the successful making of the coveted ADRs?

The Master Day Chart:
002-3.jpg

The Master List of Park Hours:
003-4.jpg

The Master Meal Chart:
004-5.jpg

The ADR Wish List:
005-6.jpg

Also included was the Passporter where I had written the times I wanted for each of the ADRs.

All the phones were charged, and clocks changed before I tucked myself into bed to dream of dancing ADRs in my head.

This morning Charles woke me up at 6:15 (even though I had my alarm set) with some sort of sing-songy tune about making Disney dining reservations. ;) I must admit I didn't exactly bounce out of bed. After all, it was 5:15 according to my body. I dragged into the kitchen where Charles had made my coffee in my Tinkerbell coffee mug.

7:00: I call that wonderful number 407-WDW-DINE.

7:02: I get a CM who promptly puts me on hold to transfer me to another CM because of my check-in date. While on hold, I treat Charles to rousing renditions of the Splash Mountain soundtrack, the POTC soundtrack, and the HM soundtrack. He sends me over to the DIS boards. Then, I folded some laundry and unloaded the dishwasher.

7:46: I get a real-life CM that can make all my dining reservations.

7:55: I am finished. A couple of interesting things to note. One, you don't get your confirmation numbers until you are all finished making your ADRs. Second, those confirmation numbers are now 12-digits long!!!

So, what did we get?

June 7: An early morning ADR at Tusker House!
June 8: Dinner at Rose and Crown!
June 9: Dinner at the Hollywood Brown Derby! I am so excited about this one!
June 10: Breakfast at Crystal Palace with Wigdoutdismom and her family!
June 11: Dinner at Boma!
June 12: Dinner at Teppan Edo!

I was able to get everything I wanted for the times I wanted! Hurray!

Congratulations!! I love your charts1 i think they are much beftter to understand than mine are. Do you mind if I snag your idea!

BTW, all your ADRs look great! You are going to have such a wonderful time.
