This sentence made me laugh out loud. Good thing I wasn't sipping my Coke or it would be all over my laptop!

I thought of that one while I was folding laundry this morning. I was quite proud of it.
Good job on not switching resorts! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! The Beach Club looks so very awesome. I sent an IM to DH yesterday while at work (and browsing the DIS during lunch), "We MUST stay at the Beach Club sometime." It will be amazing! And, you have plenty of future Disney trips to experience the other resorts. You are getting a GREAT steal on this stay, it's wise to take advantage of the more expensive resort with such a good deal.
That's right -- they have DVC there! What a great place to use some of those points of yours!

The deal we got on the room is just so awesome that I am going to hate paying rack rate from now on.
And, EVERY TIME I read your PTR I end up opening a new IE session and typing
www.verabradley.com into the address bar. I still haven't bought, but I am oh, so close. Those retired patterns and deep discounts are calling my name....
I love all the new 2009 patterns!

I can't tell you how many times I have browsed their site!
I don't really have any information for you on your questions, but just wanted to say that if we could swing it - I would definitely stay at Beach Club. There are just so many great things about it and about it's location. And Stormalong Bay looks so awesome!
I just have to keep telling myself that we are paying exactly what we would pay for a moderate -- that usually makes my frugal nature feel better.
My vote is to stick with Beach Club this time. There will be many more trips and many more resorts to come. Walking out the back gate to my room after Illuminations and not having to wait in a crowd and stand on a packed bus would be enough to make it awesome for me.
Oh, we are sticking with it. Charles won't let me change even if I really wanted to do so. I can't wait to be able to walk from Epcot -- that's one of the things I am most looking forward to being able to do.
Crafts will be fun. Brooklynn would love that when she's older.
I guess they do ceramics and t-shirts on some days. I think that will be a fun break from the heat of the parks one day.
The walk to the Boardwalk is nothing. Just down the walk and across the bridge. You'll enjoy that, too.
Oh, that's fantastic! I sense an early morning walk to Boardwalk Bakery in my future!
We thought about going over for a Beach Club movie this summer when we were staying at Pop, but we never did. In November, Music had them out by the pool every night, so that was nice. That'll be something else Chelsea and Connor will like.
I have a feeling I will be so relaxed I might fall asleep during the movie.
And as soon as you get home from Beach Club, you can start planning for a new resort and a new trip!
You know I will be, too!
You scared me the way you started that update, CP! I'm glad you are sticking w/Beach Club I'm sure you'll be happy!
Sorry, didn't mean to scare you!
Stick with Beach Club!! It looks absolutely amazing but due to my lack of physical Disney experience, I can't help you with any of those questions...pathetic, I know
We've never been over there, believe it or not, so it will be all brand new to us!
Jackie, the boys went to Simbas Cubhouse at the AKL last April and loved it. I was happy that I had 2 to send together. You have to guarantee 2 hours minimum. the hours are 4-12 I think or 4-11. We left them there for 3 hours and had dinner at Le Cellier alone and it was HEAVENLY! The boys had fun, they have crafts, tons of moneys (Disney of course) video games, book, coloring and board games! The kids were served dinner too. The only issue with this is that dinner was only served between 6-8 so you had to have them there in time to eat. It was $11 per child per hour. We spent $66...it was sooooo worth it

The ressies can be made with a credit card hold 90 days in advance... You will LOVE the Boardwalk area, it's convience can't be beat.

We are eating at the Cape May Cafe for breakfast and dinner so I will be anxious to hear which you choose. I have read GREAT reviews of both lately!
Diane, that's great! I am so glad that you had some personal experience with one of the kids' clubs. I am trying to decide if we are going to take Chelsea and Connor to dinner with us, and then drop them off, or let them eat at the Sandcastle Club. Part of me is very tempted to just let Charles and me have a kid-free dinner.
I have read great reviews of both, so I am torn. I don't know if I want to eat at the same place twice, but I may go ahead and do it.
I almost keeled over when I started reading this and thought you were changing your resort! Then I checked your ticker and breathed a sigh of relief!
I am so glad you and Charles are thinking of doing a date night. That will be great for you both. I am sure the kids will have fun too.
Yes, no resort changing for me. All of my second, third, and fourth places are already booked up, so I don't want to stay anywhere else.
I think Charles and I will be in seventh heaven on our date night. We haven't been out dancing in soooo long.
I, as well as almost everyone else, nearly had a heart attack thinking you switched your resort----PHEW!!!! The walk to Boardwalk is nice, or if you are not in the mood, you can also just boat it over there---I recommend the walk though. I think Lesley used the kids' club in June---I think she recommended them as well!!! NO MORE SCARES LIKE THAT AGAIN THOUGH--OKAY!!!! My heart just can't take those scares!
I won't scare anymore, I promise!
I don't want to wish away half my year, but I sure can't wait to be making that walk over to the Boardwalk!
We can't wait to try out Jellyrolls, the moderators on dis chat say that it is now smoke-free!
We have/had one here in Atlanta (I don't even know if it is still around) and it was my FAVORITE place to go down in Buckhead. The atmosphere is just great!
