Got Pixie Dust? A June 2009 PTR ~TR Link, Page 180

Back to work on Monday. It is okay. Since I only go half day it is not too bad, but being off since June makes back to work a harsh reality. I just need to get back in the groove. The kids are fine... Luke is seemingly sleeping for longer stretches finally at night. That guy does not sleep much though. AG stuff is so cute, glad Chelsea has her eyes on some goodies. If get a chance soon I will post a pic... time is less these days, I am just normally able to read, not post!

Oh, I hope Luke starts sleeping more soon -- sleep deprivation is definitely a form of torture! When does your Christmas break start?

CP---I like the way those elves think---I am in some SERIOUS need of warm, tropical weather!!!!

We aren't doing the elves with Megs this year, but I think that might be some fun for next year! We do St. Nick day up here in our neck of the woods, which is Friday night/Saturday morning, so that helps break up the time between now and Christmas! Plus an abundance of holiday activities, so I think she is good for right now! That reminds me, I need to update you all over in Lapuland on all our Christmas hijinks!

I need warm tropical sunlight right now! I hate being cold! I loved reading about all your Christmas activities -- you have inspired me to try and find some fun stuff in our neck of the woods!

What silly elves!! Can't wait to see what they do next. :goodvibes

I am grouping Tuesday and Wednesday night together because of the title that I thought of. :goodvibes

Hi Jackie, hope you don't mind me coming here to post, but since I saw Jenn, and Laura recently on here too... thought I would update you all :)

went to the specialist the other day, 13 weeks now... so far seems everything looks good did some blood work, won't know the results until next week, but don't think we are choosing to do the Amnio.... go back after the holidays for another high level ultrasound... but theythink they are both boys.... I don't know how much the good lord thinks I can handle!! haha...
I'm starting to feel alittle better now too which is nice ,but can't keep my eyes awake past 8-9 oclock...

Keep you all updated...

Sounds like you all had great turkey days, and can't believe it is xmas time! Love the elves Jackie, so cute!~~ Must be a big adjustment for you Laura going back to work ... glad to hear the little ones are all doing well..
I'm sure you are busy Jenn with all the running around you do with Megs...

talk to you all soon!

soo jealous Jackie you are staying at the Beach club can't wait to hear all about this trip!
Annette

Annette, please feel free to post anything on my PTR! I am so happy to hear that your pregnancy is proceeding well! Two boys! Whew! That is definitely going to tip the scales at your house! I am glad that everything looks good from the blood work! I have been thinking about you lots!

Awe, congratulations, Annette!

Jackie the pictures of the elves are HYSTERICAL!

Thanks! They are keeping us busy, that's for sure. ;)

I love your elves! That is such a cute idea, I would have absolutely loved that when I was a kid. I liked their beach party and I hope that they don't get into TOO much mischief. :goodvibes

Thanks! Luckily, they seem to know my limits.

I love that the elves decided to soak up a little sun! I'm sure it's much warmer compared to where they came from. ;)

It certainly doesn't feel warm to me, but then I would never last in the North Pole -- I would be kicked out for whining after about two hours. :rotfl2:

Love the elves. They're adorable!

Thank you!

:rotfl2: I want to come to a swimming party....elf style!;) How creative and so much fun! What did the kids think? Thanks for putting a smile on my face this morning Jackie!!:goodvibes

They love all the things the elves have been doing. It's really so much fun to see their reactions every morning. I am planning on an elf update later this weekend. I have been taking lots of pictures of their mischief. :goodvibes

Today my ticker says SIX MONTHS until the Beach Club! Woo hoo! That means it has been six months since we were at WDW (we go the same week every year). It has flown by! I just hope that the next six months go as quickly!

This time in six months -- if we have left on time -- we will be nearing Valdosta and the Florida border! We'll be halfway to our favorite place!

:cool1:

I just realized - we have 6 months until we move! We may in fact end up moving at the exact time you'll be in Disney World. So, I can count down with you. :goodvibes I'm sure the next 6 months will fly by for both of us.

:cool1: for 6 months!! We have 6 months and 15 days!! I just hope we can make ADR'S on the 23rd when our window opens!!:goodvibes

Do you know where you are moving yet?:goodvibes

I hope so, too. I want to make my ADRs soon! Our 180-days should be Monday -- it feels like a let-down though since I can't dial Disney Dining bright and early :(.

Hey Diane and Jackie :)

We're hoping we'll find out on Monday if Chuck's request for orders was accepted. Our first choice was England and our second was back to Australia. I hope one was accepted so that we can start the ball rolling. Moving overseas takes a lot of preparation.

I guess I should read everything before I post.;)

I think being able to live in other countries would be a great experience.

Either of those places would be great! Speaking of Australia -- did you go see the new film with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. We saw it the day it opened, and I thought it was fantastic. It was one of those sweeping romantic epics with great cinematography. I cried a lot during it.

Hey Cherie :) It most definitely is. We loved our time in Australia. I really want to see another country (or countries as would be the case in England), but I also wouldn't mind going back to Australia. There's a lot left to see and do. I love traveling and it's even better when the government pays for us to do so! ;)

Yes I did! I thought it had a Gone With the Wind feel to it. Darwin is quite a bit north of where we lived, but when they showed footage of the Outback (like where the ranch was) - that's what it looked like in Alice Springs. It made me feel a bit homesick. And getting to see Hugh Jackman without his shirt was pretty nice too. :thumbsup2

WOO HOO for Six Months!!

Thanks! It kind of put me in a panic mode. I haven't been doing much planning, and I feel like I should get on the ball with that! I guess after Christmas I will get back to more intensive planning.

It did have a GWTW feel to it -- I thought that while I was watching it. I had never really given Hugh Jackman much thought until Australia. Then, I was all like, "Hello, there!" He was quite nice to spend a couple of hours with! :rotfl:

Haddon and Ingrid have been busy little elves this week. I thought I might share all the fun they have had.

Tuesday night, they discovered Wayne Manor, Batman, and shaving cream:

I guess the shaving cream was supposed to be snow? Notice how the Joker appears to be trapped in a snow drift.

Wednesday night they brought a letter and some elf jokes:

Thursday night they found the glitter. Anything bright and sparkly seems to attract them:

Friday night they got ahold of Connor's remote control Hummer. Clearly they are not good drivers since they managed to fell a tree:

Yesterday Chelsea and Connor made a house for them:

And last night they brought a gingerbread house. Think we can make it look like the Grand Floridian one?

HOW FUN!!!:thumbsup2 :cool1: What a great/clever thing to do!! I LOVE the elves and want some of my own! You are very brave to keep them around after the glitter incident:rolleyes1 The WORST mess to clean!:goodvibes

I love the elf house! We had our own elf arrive this week by the name of Drew. He's gotten into some mischief himself. I've posted about his antics on my blog (link in my profile).

So much fun! :)
