I really hope I did all my resort dilly-dallying early on -- I want to stay at Wilderness Lodge!!! Or Animal Kingdom Lodge! No, really WL is winning hands-down this week!

Don't scare me like that! Maybe we can brainwash...ahem...convince all the lapulapuettes that WL is a must do.

See this is how the chaos of Resort Regret begins!!! One thing we can always count on on the DIS is that there will always be a multitude of opinions on where to stay!!!!

Ah, it's almost October – one of my favorite months of the year – cooler weather, pumpkins, candy corn, Halloween, and a new pre-trip report!

DD (Chelsea) – Chelsea is very dramatic. Case in point: the other day she flopped into a chair and said, “Mother, I need a trip to Disney.” Hmmm, wonder who she sounded like? She has already decided that she wants to celebrate her 13th birthday in 2010 at the Grand Floridian. Okay!

Good for her!

DS (Connor) – when asked last year to write a proper noun for a park, he wrote Disney World; when playing Clue Haunted Mansion he begins the game by intoning “Welcome Foolish Mortals.”

UP NEXT: How did I go from Caribbean Beach or Animal Kingdom Lodge to Wilderness Lodge – a resort I have never even set foot in???

The one place we have stayed is WL, and it's beautiful!

Sorry I have been MIA for awhile first our computer got struck by lighting last month (FINALLY got a new one) then my father in law passed away, and now we have no gas to go anywhere !haha... I am soo excited to here for the journey can't wait! I am trying to figure out away to take the kids next year on their birthdays for a special trip each, but 2 of them are during the school week so don't think DH will go for that, but we'll see...... fingers crossed I can figure something out...

I enjoyed reading your last TR and looking forward to this one! We were there June 11-17 so we were there during your trip this year. I'll be interested to hear how you like WL. DH and I are hoping to take an anniversary trip in November 2009. He likes the WL and POR. I'm dying to stay at AKL! I also like BWI and CBR. I've got a longggggg time to keep changing resorts! LOL

Yes, so many DISers have raved about Wilderness Lodge that I knew I needed to stay there at some point!

Hi and welcome! I guess since you are planning another trip, you had a blast on your first one? There are so many resorts to choose from and they are all so fabulous, it is hard to pick just one. I love AKL, too! It's been my favorite for several years.

Love your idea to take the kids on special trips! So fun! Hope DH lets you do it!
