Well girls, I am back home for the evening, other than going out for a walk after while, that is.
It's going to be hard for me to type this, because you can't believe the day I've had. After the kids left school today and I was the only one in the building, a volcano erupted right outside my window.
Yep, we never even knew there was a volcano back there, but that sucker erupted all over the place. Lava poured into my window and knocked me into my desk, breaking all my fingers.
Do you believe it? The very thing I had feared!
At that point, my first thought was, "Now I have to type my goodbyes to
CP's family with my nose tonight!"
Yep, that was my first thought.
So, after I swept up the lava
(do you know how hard it is to sweep with no fingers?), I figured I better get something to protect my nose, since I was really going to need to type tonight.
On my way across the room to see if I had any spare nose protectors laying around, I tripped over the broom (the very one I swept up the lava with) and boom, fell onto the floor and broke my nose!
"Oh, no!" was my first thought.
"Now how will I type my farewell? No fingers. No nose."
"I know, I'll use my toes!"
Welllllll, you're not gonna believe this,
(really, you aren't) but...
as I drove home with my broken fingers and broken nose, a boulder fell on the front part of my car. Just from outta nowhere, it plopped right on my pedals. Since my feet are normally right near the pedals, it broke nine out of ten of my little piggies.
You know what my first thought was?
So, here I sit, typing with my one lone little pinky toe, because I just knew the most important thing at the end of this crazy day was to get back here and tell you guys to
have the awesomest of awesome times!
I'm so excited for you guys, if you can't tell. I know you've waited a long time and made lots of changes, but it is here and it is real and it will be incredible!
Have fun with
wigd and her menfolk. I'm sure they're a lot of fun to hang around with. You guys behave yourselves while you are watching Illuminations and don't give us
nice normal Disers
a bad name.
We'll move into the forties on our countdown while you're gone, so that's exciting for us.
I'm going to get my crutches and go out for my walk now.

You guys have a fun evening making your last minute preparations.
I'll check back in later on and see how wimbi it is getting around here!
