Got our BCV this morning!

I am still stunned! Jaki Apetz from A Timeshare Broker call this morning and we are getting our BCV contract! Last week I posted some questions I had regarding the choice between SSR and BCV and how to decide what to purchase. I also mentioned that I had interest in a specific use year due to my kids and school. Caskbill, jodifla, and crisi were kind enough to respond with some good feedback and ideas. The next day I called Jaki after reading good things about her on some threads on this board. She was very helpful and professional and listened to my requests ( and did not laugh when I said I really wanted BCV for June) She said that she would give my requests her attention and keep them on her desktop. She was true to her word! She called this morning... A BCV contract for the points we wanted and the use year we wanted. WOW Anyway... thank you all for your great posts and information. I have been reading them for a couple of months now. And thank you Jaki for your great follow-through! And hello from your soon to be nieghbors!

Congratulations. We also purchased a resale through Jaki and can't say enough positive things about the experience.

You did what we tell so many people to do on these boards. That is to contact the resellers ahead of time and tell them what you want. It's great to hear back from someone who it worked for.

Wow good for you, my friends are still waiting for a 300 pt. contract to become available....i dont think the UY matters alot to them.....how many pts. was your contract for if i may ask???

Tell your friends that Tim Reid at www.Reid4Florida.com has a great BCV listing. We were #1 on the waitlist and got the call last night that the deal fell through for the 1st purchaser; however, we just signed a BWV contract yesterday morning (talk about timing!!) with very similar points plus the same use year we already have so we passed on the BCV property. The BCV listing is an April use year, 255 BANKED 2003 points, all 285 points from 2004. They were asking $22,000 firm.

Don't think that one will last long.

Glad to help you out!! It can be tough to find exactly that right contract. Since I couldn't send a PM or e-mail to you, I was concerned that someone else may have seen my post and called on it before you saw it! It was very hard deciding whether we should go with the BVC listing that Reid had (with lots of banked points) which would have meant cancelling the BWV purchase we had just initiated with Jaki that morning!

The contract we purchased is 200 points. We were looking for a specific use year (June) and 200 points and so it was a very nice suprise that this contract became available. I was prepared to wait thinking it might be the fall before I heard something close to what I wanted. Thanks to all for the congrats, and the flowers are beautiful Nick@VB+OKW. I am really looking forward to going..... and seeing my kids faces when we tell them that we are now planning these vacations into our budget.......
