I knew they would be higher this year and have been searching for 8 weeks now. I prefer going into Orlando but jacksonville and tampa are okay. I like bradley (in CT) but NYC is okay. I prefer non-stops but will take a connection. I ended up with non-stops out of NYC (LGA) into Tampa for $225 each. Not bad compared to what I've seen. We'll be leaving on Friday night the 16th and returning on the 25th. Delta/American combo flight. We already have our timeshare booked so we sit back and count the days now, 6 months and counting....

That's a good price...you must be renting a car too..I hope it all works out for you. :cheer2:

I smiled when I read your post because it is amazing what those of us from the northeast will do to get the heck out of here in February. We booked Portland, ME to Orlando for $256 a few weeks ago. I had been checking Bradley prices because my parents live down that way and they had been higher than even Portland prices which is odd. Nonstop flights make up for the travel from CT to New York and from TPA to Orlando. Congrats on booking.

Thanks, I've done much better in the past (my best was non-stops out of LGA to MCO in 2002, after 9/11, for $147 each!!!) but I know those days are gone. I know the price of fuel will make flight more expensive so I was looking for something close to $200. Non-stops are always great. We went out of Bradley last year but had to go to St Louis and then to Jacksonville and drive down to orlando. Those tickets were $225 each last year! So, I'm happy with these.
