I opened a BRAND NEW yahoo account last Wednesday I created ONLY ONE itinerary specifiying "Non-Disneyworld hotel" and listed reason as "cannot afford Disney property hotel". In addition, I played with offers for packages but never saved the offers. I received the pin today at 11:38AM...I hope this helps someone:):cheer2:

Ok....why am I not seeing what everyone else is when I make an itinerary?
I click "Non-Disney Hotel" from teh drop-down menu and it never asks me for a "reason" why. It just saves the itinerary. Where does it ask you for the reason you are staying off-site?:confused3

I don't get a box asking for a reason either. I must be missing something also.

I found out it happens when you go back to edit your itinerary. When the box pops up that allows you to plan each day of your stay (which park you would like to visit Mon, Tues, etc)... at the bottom of that window, there is hopefully an option to edit your resort or add a resort, or something like that. Click on that and there will be a box that lets you tell Disney you are staying at the Blissful Budget Hotel because you can't afford a Disney resort without a code or whatever you wish to type in there. Hope it works, good luck. :)

Ok I just tried this with my new email/ disney account under my DH name with a mailing address as my DMIL and I deleted my cookies right before signing on. I also hopped on one foot touched my nose and said disney 3 times! Hopefully this is what will trigger a pin!!!!:rotfl:

Thanks for the help with that though I couldnt find the explaination box!

Anyone else having trouble opening the Plan Your Days link?

you need to delete an itinerary to make a new one. It only saves a certain amount

Just thought I'd chime in on the matter. I followed the advice on here with three different emails (my gmail, DH's gmail, my work email). I have a Yahoo account that I use for junk mail that I haven't checked in ages. I didn't use that email, but it occurred to me for some reason to check it on the off chance they sent one to that account. Well there is was! The 20/30/40 PIN.
The weird thing is, it said (and I'm paraphrasing here) "We're glad to see you've started planning your Disney vacation with us. We would like you to consider staying at a Disney resort..."
It has to be my original account (work email) is connected to my Yahoo email somehow. Otherwise, I don't really understand how that happened. When I called to book, she had my work email on file...no mention of the Yahoo one. :confused3

The other three never a received a PIN.

Followed the advice on the boards. My friend and I each did it and she got the pin code yesterday. Called last night and got Yacht Club for 40% in November.

Its interesting, I was just tooling around with the itineraries, and the 'plan your days' selection is a broken link. I turned off the pop up blocker, and still nothing happens..they appear to be doing site maintenance, because they said they are, but still interesting that this option is totally unavailable to me at this time, when it was available a week ago...

I followed the directions on the board, and got the same as well. Now I just have to convince my DH (my kids are, obviously, on board!!)
Thanks again!!:cool1:
