I ordered them on December 2nd!!!!!

They blew that Christmas gift. Thanks for absolutely nothing Snapfish...

AdoramaPix, FAR superior prints and I ordered a week before Christmas and had them in time for Christmas.

Snapfish sends me free print codes all the time. Quality isn't even worth it for free.

Had some issues with cards from Snapfish that were ordered in November, but I followed the tracking and the glitch was with my post office and not with Snapfish. Not sure if you will find the same, but our PO seemed to be holding items hostage rather than delivering them. Didn't make any sense to me, but like I said the tracking indicated they sat at the PO for over a week before being delivered.

Snapfish was overwhelmed with orders this holiday season and sent out emails informing customers that their photo orders would be delayed. Didn't you get this? I agree that there are better photo printing choices.

I don't really have experience with Snapfish, but we have used Shutterfly.

Last year I ordered our Christmas Photo Cards from Shutterfly around December 15th, and everyone received them by Christmas Eve! Really great service. :thumbsup2

from Snapfish and I agree w/a PP.. for some reason the USPS had it for 10 days from Buffalo to Rochester. Didn't come in time for Christmas either.

Some of the pix are way too dark. But the worst part is on the back of every page it says www.snapfish.com Beltsville, MD and the order # and the date. And it's upside down. Really takes away from the photo you are looking at on the opposite page.

Has anyone else received one of these? Is that common practice? It was only a few $s and was sort of a gag gift but I wasn't thrilled with it at all. We usually use walmart.com and have been very happy with them.

Agreed. We love Adorama's quality and prices. When Adorama got backlogged during the holidays, we ordered from Mpix and were very satisfied with them also. Excellent quality and great customer service.

Holiday shipping has got to the point that if I have not ordered it by the end of November I do not count on it coming in time. If it does come in time it is a bonus in my mind.

As for pictures, I usually pay the extra money and have them sent to a place like Walgreens or Costco. For regular photos they can be picked up in an hour and all other kinds can usually be picked up in a day or two.

I heart Costco photos.

Same-day prints with everything I've ordered. I ordered 3 photo books two weeks before Christmas and no problem picking those up either.

Me too! Costco is great and they are teamed up with Mypublisher. The Costco books are almost as nice as the ones you get from mypublisher. The only problem is with Costco you don't have as many choices with the book layout. I ordered 3 books through mypublisher on Dec.12th and they were at my door by the 19th. :thumbsup2 Wonderful quality and they should hold up as well as other books I've gotten from them. Costco also IMO has a much better print quality on their one hour items than any other local chain.

I ordered once through Snapfish when DD was first born and I had a free code and they were awful. The color was way off, they were super glossy (I'm more of a lustre fan anyway) and they took forever to arrive.

Us too!! We ordered 50 photo Christmas cards online for in-store pick up next day for $10 after a $5 off coupon! I had my cards ready to mail just after Thanksgiving! Can't beat that!

Also ordered at Costco photo online...a photo throw for my sister....I ordered it on Monday, Dec 5 and it was at my door on Saturday, Dec 10. Impressive. The quality is great and she just loved the throw with all of her grandkids on it.
On the same day, I ordered 2 bucket handbags with photos on both sides for my nieces....They both arrived on Dec 19th. I was very impressed with the quality of the material used for the bags and they were a big hit as gifts! :santa: I would order them again in a heartbeat.

My Snapfish Xmas cards arrived in time, but the quality was terrible! Finish seemed super glossy even though I ordered matte, and the colors were really muddy (from super-high res photos).

I'll be going with some other photo card printer next year. People's cards I got that came from Tinyprints seemed really nice . . .

I had snapfish letdown too! I ordered 3 photobooks when they were b1g2 free. All 3 were HORRIBLE. I'm glad I only paid for one, but even that was a waste. The picutres are all miscolored, some are sooo dark, others have an orange or yellow hue. I didn't complain because I don't want the hassle, but I would not order prints or books again. Oddly though, I ordered 2 ceramic ornaments and those came out fine. I'm guessing it's because they were printed on different machines. Either way, I am bummed all 3 books stink.

Snapfish has REALLY gone down hill. I have several free items in my account, but I haven't even thought about any of them. I've written them several times about the decline, so if you have a moment, drop them a note. Not sure if it will help, but it won't hurt!! I remember in the early days of Snapfish, I called and got someone in their US office who was so helpful and was able to fix the issue I had immediately (in addition to a full refund!!). Now all I get is an international call center or international email replies that don't seem at all customer service-oriented. Sometimes expansion is all it's cracked up to be.

Kind of bummed Disney partnered with them instead of Shutterfly.

I got a survey email from Snapfish today!! hahaha, I don't think they are going to like my response!:rotfl2:

I had ordered a bunch of photos when they had their penny sale...my dd's engagement photos and lots of vacation photos. They finally arrived and they are horrible. The quality is just awful. I paid $17 and change (including shipping) and these need to go in the trash. I was wondering if they would refund me or not? Anyone have any experience with getting a refund? I sure did waste money and wont order from them again!

It never hurts to ask, but I'm guessing that they will offer you a new set of prints.
