Hello all- I ordered my gown today!!! and headpiece. YAY! checking things off my list- How do you post a pic?

Thanks atleast I am not the only one who can't post pics! Thanks anyway- The designers rep was there and he kept saying that my dress was a pole dancer dress- he was teasing, but still. It is a halter with a deep V, but you see less in that than you did in the strapless- I love it so much- the 2 I liked looked like old hollywood glamorous- So pretty!

first start at shutterfly and download your pictures there- it is free to have a shutter fly account.
Go to www.shutterfly.com and register then add your pictures that you want.

After doing that right click on the picture that you want to post go down to properties and copy the url.

then to upload the picture do

and your picture should post. PM me if you need more help. I hope this helps.

BTW Congratulations on finding and ordering your dress- I just found mine yesterday too there are pictures in the dress thread. It's very exciting.

To post pics you first need to upload the pics to a website that hosts pics. I've seen a lot of people here who use shutterfly, I use picturetrail. Go to one of these and create an account, then upload your pics. Unless you pay their fee, you will only be able to upload a few for free.

Once you have done that, right click on the pic for the website and click properties. Highlight and copy the URL address. Go back to Disboards and go in as if you are posting a reply. There will be little icons in the reply screen and one of them will be insert image. Click on that and a little box will come up telling you to enter text. Once you paste your URL address there and hit ok it will automatically surround it with brackets like

. You can still type a message above or below the URL address in the message box and it will come out with your pic. Then just submit post. Know that if you are brand new to the board and don't have that many posts, they will not let you post pics. Here is my dress

This is how I do it. It sounds compplicated at first but once you get it down, it's easy. Hope this helps

Thanks ladies- I also bought a rhinestone tiara and will get a veil too - the train is only chapel so I may get a veil that is that long with the tiniest rhinestones that justtwinkle, you can't even see the stone, just the twinkle.... I thought it needed a bit more. This was the first one I tried on...Thanks
