Got my 2 bedroom at BCV's 12/26/2009

Did you get what you wanted for Christmas week to New Years? I was worried that I wouldn't get a 2 bedroom, 2 Queen dedicated but I called at 4pm today and snagged it. Yeah!!!!!!! I am booking 8 nights( haveto book the 8th night tomorrow but I may cancell a night at one end or the other. To close to know that now. I will wait until I can book airfare. I hope this new system doesnt mess up to many people during this week

Congrats! We stayed one night in a dedicated 2 bedroom at BCV earlier this month, they were renovating one of the floors and unexpectedly didn't have a 1 bedroom available for us so we were bumped up to a 2 bedroom. The guy at the front desk was in shock that he was told to upgrade us for free--we were paying for it and not on points. OMG the 2 bedrooms are HUGE. We had never been in one before. My son was spoiled, he had a whole wing to himself and loved it. We were at the very end of the hall on the 4th floor and it was so private feeling. My son didn't want to go anywhere, just sit in 'his room' and watch TV or go out on 'his balcony'. We are going back in June and the 3 of us will be in a studio, I'm not sure that he will survive.

Ditto on the HUGE thing! We were upgraded to a 2 BR over Christmas for a few nights (cash reservation, not points for those nights) and it was amazing! My kids are never going to want to go back to the low points studio!

Oh - just realized I said almost the same thing as the PP!

You guys are falling into the same trap that happened to us. Once you go to a 2-bdrm, forget it - studios are no longer an option.

I'm so excited too. I was able to snag the last AKV Concierge studio for 12/27-1/2... I didn't think I would have any chance at all with the new system... I am super excited. Too bad it's 11 months away. There is only 1 room category I would want before this and that would have been BW View Studio but since we do not have 11 month window we don't have any hope at changing at the 7 month mark..

I have a 1 bedroom Boardwalk view, 12/26-1/3. Just modified the reservation this morning as I had booked 12/25 -1/1 two days ago to lock in NYE. Lots of points, but hey, I won't be going back until 2011 probably. I am looking forward to it.

Congratulations!!! I'll see you there!! We're booked December 27th for 7 nights in a 2 bedroom/2 queens at BCV. We'll be at OKW 2 nights prior to that. I got through right at 9 and was finished by about 9:15. What a relief to not have any waitlists I have to keep checking!

I am laughing about the how addictive the 2 bedroom is. We use to have a 1bedroom but as our children became older they needed their space. No complants from me. We spend a good deal of time at the hotel now so it is worth it

We used to do one bedrooms as well. Ummm...not anymore! It's the extra bathroom that we really miss when we try to do one bedrooms. I'm trying to envision myself by Stormalong Bay as I look out my window at 5 inches of snow.

I was able to get the two bedroom with two queen beds at BCV right at 9 this morning for 12/27 to 1/2. We are all so excited to be going down this time of year for the first time.
