I have been trying & trying to get Le Cellier & FINALLY got one for June 9!!! :D Now which TS do I drop:
MK day: Crystal Palace (b)
AK day: Donald's Safari Breakfast, Yak & Yeti (d)
Epcot: Le Cellier (l) :D, Akershus (d)
DHS: Sci-Fi (l)
DHS am/MK pm: Play n' Dine at Hollywood & Vine (l), CRT (d) (already paid)
Saturday, Sea World day: Boma (d)

Ok, so I'm thinking H&V would be the one to drop based on quality, but Arielle likes the Little Einsteins. Logistically, I'm thinking it'd be best to drop Boma because then we'd be in no rush at Sea World trying to get back to get to our ADR, and we could just do the eat-all-day at Sea World for $30. Will I totally regret dropping Boma? WWYD? We have 7 nights on our resort ressie.

If you really don't want to drop H&V, then I would drop Boma. I know it gets great reviews, but we really did not care for it at all... I can fairly say that I have done it and have no desire to do it again. We thought it was way too wierd...
But I clearly think this is one of those restaurants you love or hate, and if you like very unusual, you probably would like it.

I am jealous, I have been trying to get into Le Cellier for awhile now and have not been able to. Enjoy your meal there. :goodvibes

I'd probably drop Boma just because of the logistics of leaving Sea World to get to dinner. That kind of rushing around can really stress people out. If that wasn't an issue, I'd drop H&V.

Holy cow! Good for you!:woohoo: And so close to your trip too!

Ok, if I had to pick I'd drop Hollywood & Vine for sure. All of other ones you have are fabulous! Oh, and if the only reason you wanted to do Hollywood & Vine is for the characters, DHS has the Playhouse Disney live show and I've seen some of those characters (Little Einsteins, Handy Manny) doing meet-n-greets outside of the theater.:goodvibes

What time are Le Cellier and Akershus? Is there enough time between the two meals that it makes sense to keep them both?

I love Boma and would highly suggest you keep that. But, if it means you won't get a full day in at Sea World it might make the most sense.

We didn't think the quality of Yak and Yeti was good at all. So, I'd easily drop that one.

I agree with PP, I would drop Boma. We went last May and while I enjoyed the food, the restaurant was so packed with people that it wasn't that enjoyable and was crazy trying to get through the buffet line. My husband would not care to go back and would pick another restaurant to try over Boma. Congrats on getting Le Cellier - we've been trying to get ressies there too.

I think you've answered your own question, BOMA's is the one that may cause you to have to rush back from Sea World so if you are going to drop, that one makes most sense.

But I notice you doing Sci-Fi for lunch. Why not just pay OOP for that one & keep BOMA's? I don't know what you order there, but if you resolve to just order burgers & shakes for lunch, your per person amount will likely not be more than $20, quite a bit less than your other meals if on DDP.

The other idea would be instead of the Y&Y TS, to have their CS next door instead. I say this having not been to Y&Y so I don't know if that would be comparable for you or not.

Have a great trip :dance3:

Thank you for all the opinions!! :) If I drop Boma (which I think I will do) I can always make another ADR the next time we go.

I think we'll be ok. I have Le Cellier at 11:55 and Akershus at 6:35. Is that good?

I think I would try to get a ressie for Boma on the same night as Yak and Yeti and then drop Yak n yeti!! :goodvibes

Is Boma easy to get to from AK? We have a car Saturday, which is why we were doing a resort meal. Every other day we are relying on Disney transportation.

Why not just replace Akershus with Le Cellier? You're already doing the princess meal at CRT. That would require the fewest changes in your touring plan.

If not, I'd drop Boma. Not because it's not wonderful but because it's a tough sell for me to have to rush back to make the ADR. Some planning and structure makes life easier. Rushing and stressing to stick to a schedule, not so much.

I was going to suggest the same thing. And as for getting to AK to Boma with a car. Easy, easy, easy. Of course, IMHO, with a car you can get anywhere in WDW very easily which is why we always rent one.

Oh-it might be kind of a pain if you wanted to stay in AK all day. You might want to just play it by ear and see how you felt after Seaworld-maybe you can just walk in somewhere depending on where your staying. You could always pay oop for a breakfast buffet -it's usually alot cheaper if you wanted to keep them all. Have fun on your trip!!

I'm actually really excited to try the food at Akershus! The CRT is more for the castle, not so much the princesses, KWIM?

We will only have a car on Saturday (Sea World day). :(

When we spent the day at Seaworld we spent the entire day there including meals, I think I would drop Boma's and just enjoy my off property day

Thanks! Glad to hear from someone who did it. :) So Sea World was an all-day affair?

Sea World can very easily be an all-day affair. I would drop Boma on the Sea World day or move it in place of Yak and Yeti. Boma is very easy to get to from AK. Grab the bus from AK to AKV. It does not take long at all.

Don't know if you're bringing small children with you or not, but even with my 5 year old, H&V doesn't appeal to me at all. That would be the one I'd drop.

I would *NOT* drop Crystal Palace. That one is AWESOME!

Otherwise, if you're sold on H&V, you might drop Sci-Fi. I like Sci-Fi, but it's not a place I'd want to eat for dinner. I prefer it for lunch.
