GOT IT!!! 7/13 pin

Now I can breathe a sigh of relief!! Just got off the phone. After being told that I can't get any values with the free dining (and mods were about $500 more), I mentioned that I had been told by a CM that it would be valid for the QS plan with values.
Then the CM said, "Let me check one more thing.....Oh, I see it here. When you said QS, I remembered that I need a different code.....Here it is-got it--POP...."
So, I got POP for 12-7 thru 12-12 (blocked out for public offer), for exactly what I thought it would be. Yey!!

What is the 7/13 pin?

Many Dis'ers have been told by CM's that they have a pin good for free dining that covers some of the blackout dates in the public free dining offer. However, the PIN could not be used until 7-13 (today). For those of us trying to plan a trip during the blackout dates, we've been hoping that the info about the pin was correct, and that we'd be able to get our resort choice and free dining for our dates. You don't have to wait to get an email or postcard from Disney to see if you have this pin---if you have it, the CM should be able to find it when you call--just ask if you have a pin or special offer associated with your name.

Sorry, but I don't know the exact dates covered. I thought it would start at the extended date of Oct. 2, and include lots of the blackout dates from the public offer from then through Dec. Other people have said they have been told that their Oct. or Nov. dates are supposed to be covered by the pin. Sorry I can't help more with specific dates.

Pop is sold out for my dates at the end of september along with all the moderates and some of the all stars.

Kelly, that's a bummer! Keep trying, though! As I played around with Disney's website last week, some things became available later in the week that weren't available at the beginning of the week. Good luck! And thanks to all for the good wishes!

Called and no pin...the CM stated that pins can come and go! is this possible? Said one day a pin can be there and the next the pin could not be!!! i really cant believe that...every CM states something different. Not one that i have spoken to is consistent. He proceeded to go on and state he knew the exact thing i was speaking of but the CM must have said something when she shouldnt have. Did you get an email pin? or u just called. Should I call back?

I got it too. Been waiting since last week when the CM told me I had the pin attached to my name but had to wait. My TA got it applied to my ressie and my mom/dad's AND my sister and her DH's! Saved us enough to buy MNSSHP tix all around. Very happy today.

Yes, I DID have a PIN attached to my name (I did not yesterday when I called), woo hoo !! It was NOT for Free Dining, but better !!! 40% off deluxe room rate.

We were originally scheduled at the Wilderness Lodge Dec 9-17 (missed Free Dining by 1 day), we have stayed at WL in 2008 & 2009.

Well, the WL is full & nothing available, but she had a Contemporary Main Tower Bay View Lake room available for the entire time Dec 9-17 & it was $315 cheaper than my original reservation. So, I get to stay in the MAIN TOWER AT THE CONTEMPORARY WITH A BAYLAKE VIEW !!!! Woo Hoo !!!!!

Thanks to all my Dis Buddies !! It was hard to let go of the Wilderness Lodge room, but the chance to get to stay in the Main Tower w/Bay Lake View was too hard to pass up, because I could not afford to stay there on my salary.
