We got a two-bedroom and a studio for the first week in April (spring break for NYC schools, where my sis is a teacher) and are waitlisted for a grand villa. I am so psyched! :cool1:

Congratulations! You are going to have a great time! :goodvibes

We reserved a studio for the same week. It's Spring Break in Georgia, so I was worried it would be hard to get and was prepared to wait list or just do WDW if it was booked.

Sigh. I  the DVC.

Congrats! Waiting for Nov to book a 2 bedrm for early June.

We're hoping to try your "home" and book early June at BWV @ 7 months. It's the last DVC I want to try! We were at the Swan last year and walked around at night/took the ferry. It looks so nice. :sunny: I'm hoping my kids get over their clown-phobia in time to try the slide!

Isn't it the best feeling when the seventh-month window works? Just saw your other post. Can you describe what Easter week is like at Hilton Head: weather, crowds, activities?

I will be there the same week, but I chickened out and rented points from a HH owner to get the 11 month reservation. I did not want to chance the 7 month window for a 2BR during Spring Break.

Hey fellow NY'er!
I just booked my week at HH in a 2BR as well for the week before Easter;(8 Nights :cool1: ) my sister and family did the same. This will be our second Easter at HH, we were also there in 2004. There are lots of activities for both kids and adults, they offer (or at least they did in '04) a fully prepared Easter dinner that they will deliver to your villa, the weather is GREAT in April in HH. Kids and DH swam daily in the ocean (about 68 - 70 degrees, which is the warmest it gets here in NY for us anyway) The resort will be full during this week, but HH never feels crowded to us. Because you can use the pool at the resort and at the beach house, it seems like people are spread out. My kids love HH as much as WDW!! It's all of the Disney Magic without the theme park craziness!!!
Are you all flying down or driving? We've always driven (this will be our 4th HH trip) but this year we are flying from LI to Jacksonville, FL and renting a car. With the price of gas it's actually about the same to fly for us and we can spend more time vacationing instead of driving.

I had no idea we would actually have the possibility of swimming in the ocean that time of year. You just made my day!

My husband and I are driving down. We will pick up my sister and her fiance in NYC, then continue on to Virginia (staying with family) and then North Carolina (visiting with family). My parents are flying down from New York. We will pick them up at the Savannah airport on Sunday. My aunt and her fiance are driving down from Philly.
