I have posted before about how I was unable to get the AP rate for a preferred site, only for a full hook-up site for our 13 nights begining July 17. When I called today to confirm our reservation and describe our camping equimpent with the front desk I was told that for our size we would be placed in a loop toward the entrance end of the campground even. We were very upset as we have 2 strollers and did not want to have to use the busses for everything. She suggested that I call CRS again to see if they could do anything. It turned out that I was able to secure the AP rate today for a preferred site for our entire length of stay!!!. It will be $57.98 per night including tax. I am so excited. She was able to view our current reservation which was booked as a preferred site, then downgraded to a full hookup site by Crs telling me that is was still a preferred site, by the time I got the confirmation there was nothing that they could do about it because the discount was not available for the preferred sites and the AAA discount that we had was no longer available. Anyway when she checked today she said that it had been an error on their part and that everything was taken care of. I believe in Pixie Dust! I'm sure that our vacation will be magical and we will hopefully have a site in the 100 loop, but any preferred site will do. Sorry about the rambling, but I am very happy.
