Got FD

Just got off the phone with Disney and have now added FD for our November trip!

I was amazed that there was no wait at all, like zero. In fact the automated part of the call took longer than the actual change to the reservation did.

I'm guessing that reservation changes are in a different que than the new FD reservations are?

Really? You sure lucked out! I waited 15 min this morning on hold. I was in the resort change queue too AP discounts came out too, and wanted to see how AP discount compared to our BB we booked.

Good thing I have free long distance promo with Shaw!!!

I got right through at 7am, no delay and also added FD to my existing reservation at POP. The agent was terrific and rushed through the process so I wouldn't lose my spot at POP. Apparently, the standard rooms at POP were going quickly due to the AoA LM standard rooms being exempt from FD! It sounds like we had better luck phoning from Canada then some of the locals did! One poster spent 2 hrs on the phone waiting while others were from 30-60 minutes!

I called on Tuesday during the Visa promo and waited less than 5 minutes. When the CM asked how long I waited, he was shocked! Apparently people were waiting an hour or so. He said he could see the que as we were talking and it was still 30 minutes. I guess that was a little pixie dust for me

I also called Tuesday when the Visa deal came out and waited about 15 or so minutes, but it was worth it because I got the Free Dining and I also got the most pleasant CM I've ever spoken with. She had obviously been to WDW lots of times and talked about the resort and restaurants I had chosen from experience.

Congrats to all of you! We also took advantage of the FD offer for Visa cardholders the day that it was offered, and I had zero wait as well. I was amazed at how quickly they changed our reservation, updated everything, and was off the phone. On previous calls I waited in that system for over 20 mins each time. Can't wait to go!!!
