Got CRT ADR today!

I was glad to get CRT ADR for 8:05 am for June 17th. I was hoping for June 20th but the CM was unable to go that far out even though it was within the 180+10 days range. She did not have any idea when the upgrade was done, but encouraged to call back in a couple of days for the 20th.

I am so excited to be able to go into the empty park, as long as the park hours are the same as last year. 8:05 ADR will give us enough time to eat and then get to rope drop!!!

We had an 8.05 reservation last week - we had enough time to enjoy breakfast, have a visit from all 4 Princesses and then get a couple of photos in front of the castle with a near empty park. Perfect. We did miss the Wishing Ceremony though - but we were not the 1st party to leave the breakfast and we were 3 adults so not too worried about it....

I also booked CRT today, but for May 18th at 8:10am. I was excited about that. There was availability for each morning of my trip with times from 8:10 to 8:35. I'm thinking maybe people aren't realizing they can book it still even though other ADR's can't (except CM and V&A).

I was also surprised how many times were available. Maybe some travel agents aren't booking for their clients either

I wanted the 17th. At first, I was going to book the 8:05; however, I figured I wanted to try to take my time walking to the castle. Yes, I want pictures of MK empty! I booked Chef Mickey's for the 14th. My kids say they must eat there again. I can't wait until June!!

You go through the usual turnstile entrances - there will be one marked especially for the breakfast reservations. Can't miss it - you'll have a great view of the castle and main stree with very few people about - if you are quick and have time I recommend a few snaps with the photopass people who are about

Cool! What time do they open the special ADR gate? I am hoping for a few minutes to take some pics!

For the early seatings, I have found that the restaurants at Magic Kingdom don't worry too much whether your seating is at 8:05, 8:10, or 8:20. For that first wave into the park, they want to just get people to tables.

So I wouldn't worry too much if you arrive at 8:07 for an 8:05 reservation because you stopped for a couple of photos. The flip side of this is that even arriving promptly, you may find yourself seated after someone else with an 8:15 seating time.

As these things go, it's about as minor an annoyance as you'll find.

I agree with the above poster - last week we had an 8.05 reservation, were at the castle by 8 and sat down by 8.15. Not too bad and we were done by 8.55 so got out to get some quiet pics....dead on 9am they opened the park to regular guests and we watched them literally swarm down Main St!!

We have the deluxe dining plan. They took my cc info but will not charge it unless we no show the ADR.

Thanks for the info. I just wanted to be sure. Is this the case for other meals too like Mickey's BBQ and Spirit of Aloha?
