Got Confirmation letter but Had Not Made Reservation

My husband was in shock yesterday when he opened the mail and found a confirmation letter for a reservation for September for Disney. He called me at work, confused, and a little surprised, and wondered if I had planned a secret trip withouth telling him. I had not even made a reservation! I did call for rates and information, so the Cast Member must have made the reservation at that time. I called when I got home and had them cancel it, much to hubby's dismay, but it is still too soon for us to reserve for September. We have a lot going on right now, so Disney is just in the "thinking about doing" stage. We should know within the next few weeks if a trip is possible this year.

A few times I have called inquiring about room only rates. And later I received e-mails trying to entice me to book. (Which didn't work )

The same thing happened to me - I thought it was a little odd but it also states on the letter that if you do not put down a deposit the reservation will be taken out of the system automatically, I'm not going to sweat it!

My fiance and I are going over everything this weekend and who we will be booking with. It will most likely be Disney directly.

Maybe between now and the time that I actually reserve I will get one of those postcards with a discount code.
