Got call from Guide today

I got a call from my guide today to inform me that prices are going up July 1st. We have been wanting to add on. Anyone know of any other details of add ons? I did not ask if this is for all current DVC resorts that are for sale or just SSR. I would of loved to talk to my guide more but I was busy at the time and he said to call him back (but will be out of the office next week) and leave him a message. He did tell me he can hold that price till a certain date if we do decide to add on.

I read that AKV is going up to $120 as well. Not sure about the others.

We just did an addon at AKV on Wednesday.

I haven't called our Guide yet, but....if DH and I add on 50 points we can get $8 off and if we use Magical Beginnings get another $5 off for a total of $99/pp? I think I am reading DVCNews correctly. We paid $93/pp last year and if we could get them for $99/pp that would not be bad. We already have enough points for trips into 2011 so selling back the points would not hurt our plans.

For direct purchases from Disney, it depends on the UY.
August UY contracts started before Aug 1, 2010.
September UY contracts started before Sept 1, 2010.
October UY contracts started before Oct 1, 2010.
December UY contracts started before Dec 1, 2010.
All other UYs will not get 2009 points because the UY month has already started.

Just spoke with Guide. Yes with our DEC UY we will get free 2009 points, with no MFs due. He said, when I asked about Magical Beginnings, " I don't know what you are talking about?" So I read it to him from the DVC News website. He told me that was an old promotion and no longer in use. So for our 50 pt add on... We would get free 2009 points with our UY and our monthly note would go up about $65 dollars with our MF up about $21. So our 50 points are $104 pp point.

When I asked about how much they would be after July1st he told me he did not have the final word on that and just knew they would be more expensive. Of course I think he knows, just not able to say...
