We got back yesterday morning and just wanted to summerise our highs and lows, can't wait to start planning for our next trip now, hopefully November this year! I will be doing a proper trippie as soon as I get my head into gear
Lets get the lows out of the way first so that we can forget those
The delays both outgoing and coming home - it took us 37.5 hours to get from our house to the villa, including sleeping on the floor at Newark - Shelby's first thought when we were delayed coming home was to say "mommy please don't make us sleep on the floor again today"
The Brazillian tour groups, they were everywhere and a lot of them were loud and obnoxious chanting at the tops of their voices.
The weather the first week was terrible too - Freezing cold, we were wearing all of our winter clothes from home!
ok the Highs!
Harleys 3rd Birthday at Chef Mikeys! It was fab, lovely food and the character interaction was great too. He loved it - as did we all truth be told!
Aquatica - we visited twice and really enjoyed it, the park was clean (virtually empty) and well kept, we loved seeing the trainers with the birds just hopping round the park, the kids area was fantastic and the slides are great too, we loved Roas Rapids - so much fun. after going to Aquatica we went to TL and considering that it has only just opened again for the season and how long it was closed for last year it sure does look tired and dirty.
Cheesecake Factory and Chilis - we had trouble choosing which one to go to! They were both fab! The Chilis that we were going to opposite Camping World was also still doing the 2 for $20 offer too so we took advantage of that. The Cheesecake Factory was just amazing - their portions are huge, we were bringing a box of food home with us after every meal!
Mountain Dew - need I say more?
TSM - We managed to ride it 4 times on Thursday, they were saying that the line was 120 minutes but actually it was around 40 minutes a time, I think they were trying to put people off.
Americal Idol Experience - We really enjoyed this and went back to see the final at the end of the day, it was really funny how the whole thing seemed to draw you into it, the singers were really good too, I know some people have said that they didn't like it but even the kids were clapping along and voting for their favourites.
Well that's about all I can think of for now, I will hopefully get started on my trippie soon!
