6 night/day stay at SSR Treehouse. No Park Hoppers (for the first time in a long time). Made FP ressies at 60 days.

Treehouse was nice, very quiet which was important to us. Loved having the third bedroom for less than a GV. We had a car and that is a must. I would stay here again, but I noticed I missed the brightness of villas like OKW or BCV.

Fastpasses all worked! Last year, only 2 out of 6 people had working magicbands so this was a relief. We did stand by in the mornings and did very well, waits less than 20 minutes all around until after lunch. We did everything we wanted (including mine train twice!) except we never made it on Great Movie Ride. The tiering stinks and we only had one day in HS.

We drove everywhere. This was the first time ever that we had a car. It was unbelievable how much time we saved. We will rent from now on.

BOG FP was a highlight. Pre-Order people! The pre-order line moved much quicker, however the pre-order did not work. Our order did not appear when we attempted to pull it up on the screen to pay. The CM state they were having problems with it that day. Regardless, that line moved much faster and you CAN make adjustments to the order at the time of payment.

We caught the Food and Wine on Sunday, we expected long lines and there were. I did manage to get the apple pie drink and peirogies at Poland with minimal wait which was what I really wanted. I would like to try Food and Wine again, we just happened to be there.

Veterans Day was madness. We did great in the am, left due to high crowds and returned that evening for our mine train fp. Getting in was fine, getting out was just un-magical. There were a couple of parades and nighttime shows scheduled and it was one of the only days that week without a party so crowds were high. They opened the backstage area to let people in/out but after that, it was impossible to move. I think if we were on the right side of the street, we could have gotten out through the stores, but the electrical parade just started so likely not. It was rough.

Great trip. A good time was had by all.

We were also at MK for Veterans Day. Leaving after the first MSEP was insane but worth it. I haven't seen that parade in 20 years. :)

I was also there for Vetern's Day... Fortunately I left around 2, after an early morning, and found out they had extended park hours (via our bus driver!).. I came back just before nighttime festivities, had dinner, shopped, did a FP then watched MSEP the second time at 10pm.. that was awesome, cause crowds weren't even 2 people deep then, and then meandered out of the park before closing with no crowds at all..

Funny how the same day in the same park can give two totally different experiences, right?!?!

I will just add to the Veteran's Day comments as well: We couldn't believe the crowds in the MK for a day in November; that was, in my books, close to a summer crowd. The first announcement that the park would stay open for 2 extra hours (so until midnight) was made just before the start of the 3PM parade. We drifted out of the MK quite a bit past midnight, bone tired, to avoid the leaving crowds, and had the bus to the AKL practically to ourselves. At a few minutes to midnight, the 7DMT still had an actual 40 minute wait time!
