Thanks for all the nice replies everyone
I only heard the last half hour or so in the drive up the road. Don't be getting too cocky tho, it ain't over yet
we're looking at taking in a Rays game - can you give advice as to if it would be real boring for a 5 and 6 year old, and where you got your tickets and if they were good seats etc ...
thanks
Hi islandmum. Your kid would love it, there's much more to do than just see a ballgame. They have loads of things for kids in the concourses under the stadium like meeting the Rays mascot, interactive baseball games, facepainting, kids games, etc. They also have a Ray 'touch tank' that looks out on to the stadium from centre field. Kids can actually go in and touch the Rays, feed them, etc.
I'm gonna post some photos in the thread titled 'baseball' if you want to have a look. We sat in 4 separate locations in the 6 games we seen
Ticket prices vary greatly, have a look on this link;

The $10 tickets are great by the way, we spent a couple of games up in the top tier and the view was excellent (we were 2nd row). Also, the Press Level tickets are a great view, especially the closer you get to the plate.
Let me know if you need any more info
Hey, Paul. Whereabouts in Glasgow are you from? I'm just back today - got home a few hours ago. I went to watch the shuttle launch from Cocoa Beach - it was amazing. Where were you staying?
I live in the centre, just off the Gallowgate. The shuttle launch was indeed amazing. We seen it from Titusville so we had a clear view across the water from the launchpad and i'm glad that I can say i've now seen one. The sound was very cool as well, I didn't expect it so loud since we were about 9 miles away.
