Got another waitlist request through!!

So when I first called there was no availability for Dec 12, so I waitlisted VWL or SSR for a studio, and we got it in 1 day. So I called back and waitlisted for SV studio at AKV Jambo or Kidani and I just looked and we got Kidani! Now I am requesting Jambo house only- what are the chances that we get 3 in a row?

I had a studio and was waitlisted for a 1br that never came through. We showed up at check-in and asked if there was a 1br available, there was at Jambo. I figured might as well ask about Kidani since we'd rather have the extra bathroom, and they were able to get us a 1br at Kidani (savannah view) AND the room was available early. Not sure why the waitlist never came through, just wanted to say to ask at check-in if you waitlist doesn't come through in advance. Good luck getting what you want!

We just booked a last minute trip for 12/11- 12/14. When we called they only had a 1 bdr at SSR available. Since only 2 of us were going we didn't need that much room and we WL'd for OKW or SSR studio. That WL came through and we figured what the heck and WL'd for AKV Kidani SV studio or VWL studio. AKV Kidani came through. We decided to stop there. That's 2 for us as well at the same time.

We have been lucky lately. We originally had a 1 bdr at OKW for 2/13 -2/19. We decided to WL for a 2Bdr, which came through and then requested close to the hospitality house which also came through.

I didn't realize you could change your room type at check in. I thought you needed to deal directly with MS. I didn't know a CM at check in could make those changes. This is good to know. I will remember this in the future.
