I am so happy. I was very stressed after hearing about the trouble that others had. Today was my day to call and at first the computers were down. The 3rd time I called which was 830am their time I was able to book all of them. It is also my birthday today, so it was a great present. I will be in the World from 9/7-9/18. This is what I got

Thank you everybody! That was so very nice. I know H&V is not the best, but we have small childern and some picky children along with one teen who eats a lot. There is usually one item I like. I am glad some of you got what you wanted, and I hope the rest of you get what you want. I am sure some of us might pass each other down there, so I just want to say hi

There's a rumor afloat that those staying at value resorts with free dining are having a more difficult time obtaining ADRs than those staying at deluxe resorts and paying OOP. Looks like you have some great ADRs planned and I was just curious where you fell in the spectrum (hoping to put the rumor to bed). Have a magical trip! We'll be there 9/28-10/1 so I still have a while longer to wait...

We are staying at POFQ, and have free dining. This will be our 3rd yr with free dining, and we booked the bounce back offer last yr. I was thinking maybe since more people go in the summer due to kids going back in the fall that might be why some people had more trouble. We like going right after labor day since most kids are going back to school, so less crowds. Please let us know how your ADR'S works out and good luck. Are you on free dining? and where are you staying?

Maybe I need to read more, but where did that rumour come from? Do you have a thread reference?

Something like this would certainly smell funny and be kinda hard to manage technologically, so I kinda doubt it myself.

We will be staying at ASMusic with free dining. This will be our 3rd year that we've gotten to go to WDW during free dining and we have never had a problem getting ADRs at places we wanted to eat during what we consider to be "meal times". Last year we stayed at another value resort with the whole family and the year prior it was just me and my DH for a short getaway at a deluxe.

I don't have a link to the "rumor" threads but I'm choosing to believe it's just that - a rumor. I see just as many successful ADRs out there as people reporting problems getting what they wanted. So I say, let's just approach our ADR calls with a Plan B and little

We got what we wanted as well. I called Sunday morning around 8:30 eastern time and was only on hold for 6 minutes. Then today I called around 7:30 to switch one and got the replacement I was hoping for. We are on the dining plan and staying at POFQ. I am hoping the reason so many of us are able to get the ADR's we want is because there are not as many people going due to the beginning of the school year...or maybe that is just wishful thinking.
