Today is my 180+10 day. At 6EST, I logged into the website and got every ADR we wanted (Ohana, CRT and Le Cellier + some traditional favs). :donald:

This will the 7th year in a row we are going to WDW and the first time, of the 7, that we have been able to get everything we wanted (with no sacrifices - i.e. Le Cellier for lunch b/c I can't get dinner).

Is this the new norm, with the new CC guarantee/penalty and restrictions to booking more than one reservation per meal per day or was I just lucky?!

I have no idea if this is the new norm but it makes me pretty dang happy to read! My ADR day is Monday and I'm hoping for your same success. Cheers!

I had the same experience when I booked my ADRs at the end of February. What a pleasant surprise, huh? All that stressing I do about making sure I'm up to book them right at 6 am was for nothing this time. I really think it has a lot to do with the credit card guarantee. A lot of people just don't like to give out that information, and I think there's others that don't understand how the guarantee works. I talked to someone the other day that thought they were actually being charged $40 for their family of four for all the ADRs they were making that required the guarantee. She had four ADRs that required it and "couldn't believe Disney wanted her to pay $160 up front to make the reservations!" I'd be willing to bet she isn't the only one that thinks that.

Whatever the reason is for it being easier, I'm sure glad it happened! Can't wait to get there!! (Here I go, wishing my summer away again....)

I've got to agree here! It now seems WAY easier to get those elusive ressies! I was actually able to make an 'Ohana breakfast ressie yesterday afternoon for 5/10 at the exact time I wanted. It was a last minute add on request from DH. I was thrilled!

I'm so glad they've implemented the $10 no show fee!

I think the CC policy plus the policy of only one ADR at a time (instead of having and ADR for CM at 6p, CP at 6:15p, and CRT at 6p) has kept people from loading up on ADRs with the plan to cancel some later.

If this is true then the upside is that more spots are available at our 180 day mark. The downside is that we will see fewer cancellations later on.

When I made my ADRs in the middle of March, I had no problem getting the times & restaurants that I wanted. I changed to of those ressies this past week for Boma & 'Ohana. Got exactly the times that I wanted. So something good has happened to the system!:cool1:

Reading this makes me so happy since I just finished reading a thread where people were complaining that they couldn't get the ADR's they wanted. I can do mine on Thursday and am planning to be up and logged on right at 6.

I had the same experience with the exception I can not get a add for leceillar at lunch. Aparetntly they are not currently taking them past sept 24 though but I was pleasantly surprised i got everything else

Congrats!! I'm hoping that luck holds out for me next Sunday! It's my ADR day and I can't wait!!

I also hit my 180 day mark today and no problem booking any of my Adr's for the times I wanted. I was able to book cape may cafe, 'ohana, California grill (7:30 pm) for fireworks, coral reef all with no problems! :cool1:

I had the same experience when I booked mine, I worried since I was at 160-ish day that I would have issues, but we got everything we wanted, Ohana for dinner, CM for breakfast and Akershus for dinner...made me a very happy gal!

I booked yesterday on line and got everything I asked for including the times I wanted. I did have to call at 7am for Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner it was not available on line
