Got a serious haircut today.

Thanks everyone! I'm getting mixed reviews from people I know personally, I think its hard for them to see me without my long locks. But I've gotten many many great compliments too. I'm still trying to get used to it, but I think I like it. I just wonder how it will look once i wash it (Tonight) and have no clue how to style it myself lol

You look great. I did the exact same thing in June and some people hated it, some people loved...I absolutely love it! I have always had long hair and it is a chore!

The good think about hair, is that it will grow back! The extra nice bonus when going from long to short is you use lots less hair products! WOOT!

I just want to say that your new cut looks great and it's a wonderful thing you are doing donating your hair!

Make sure the hair you are sending in is perfectly dry before you mail it as if it isn't it can mold in shipment and be useless when they receive it.

And to anyone interested: Besides Locks of Love there is also Pantene's Beautiful Lengths! Hair needs to be 8 inches for them. So if you can't make it to 10" but can do 8" go for it! Anne Curry (Today show) donated to them about 2 years ago. I've used them several times since then. Wonderful cause!
