Got a PIN for December...a really pathetic PIN!

At first I was excited when I got an email from Disney Destinations with th subject "Check out this Magical Disney Offer," but then I actually opened it and read it.

Stay in the middle of the magic at select Disney Resort hotels.

Disney Value Resort $95*per night plus tax in a standard room.
For stays most Sunday–Thursday nights 12/1/11-12/22/11.

Disney Moderate Resort $164*per night plus tax in a standard room.
For stays most Sunday–Thursday nights 12/1/11-12/22/11.

Disney Deluxe Resort $280*per night plus tax in a standard room at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge or Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
For stays most Sunday–Thursday nights 12/1/11-12/22/11.

Um. Those are the regular rack rates for that time period. Gee, thanks so much for that "special" offer; I think I'll pass.

I had one earlier in the year that was higher than rack. I think it was based on the weekend rate for everyday of the week. Makes my 10% pin look awesome.

Imagine how "special" you would feel if you booked that rate! Wouldn't you love being at your resort knowing you were "special" because you paid more than anyone else there?

I received that same offer a few days ago and was so excited until I read it. And like you, when I checked the rack rates, both prices were the same!:0(
