stay 5 nights/6 days bought a one day pass and get a $500 gift card. would i receive the gift card at check in?? anyone else get this promotion??

Yep, twice! A friend received it a couple of months ago and one came in my email today.

Would rather have the 40% code because this did not come out to an upfront savings. It is rack rate until they hand you the $500 gift card, but then guests will spend that onsite, so Disney loses nothing. Clever move!
