I got a packet from Loews today. Most of it was just detailing the new member benefits. One paragraph caught my eye and I dont remember seeing this on their site.
"As always, the more you stay with Loews hotels, the more special privileges and generous rewards you enjoy. To maintain the exclusive nature of Loews First, individuals will need to complete their required qualifying stays each year to remain eligible for the Gold and Platnium levels the following year. Current members will retain their status through 2004 unless a higher status is earned based on the new LoewsFirst membership criteria".
So would you take this to mean a member at Platnium level would have to have 10 qualified stays or 15 nights per year to remain at a Platinum level? I'm guessing after 2004 there will be quite a few of us that will be back to Loews Blue or Gold.
I have a few other questions and will be giving them a call in the AM.
