There are more than enough complaints to go around on these boards, I don't like to add to it. I'm also a huge control freak/type A personality who loves, loves, loves planning, but....

WOW. I did not enjoy booking my FP+ experiences at midnight last night.

--Got A&E, but my family won't be experiencing it together. Honestly, if you do not have at least a 7-day trip booked, I have no idea how you would even get a FP+ for this experience. Was able to get us all in to see them on our last day at parks, but not all at the same time, and not even overlapping. It will be fine, though. My girls just really want to see them. I'm sad I won't experience it with both, but that's just me being a little ridiculous considering the high demand for these characters. (I was able to get all four of us FP+ on our very last day, but not until early evening, which doesn't work with our flights.)

--I could not figure out how to "copy" FP+ experiences for my family. I will have to go back and play around with my selections, as some folks in our party do not want to ride certain attractions, but I can't modify them individually, unless I book individual FP+ for each person and hope that our times overlap. Am I understanding this correctly? I sure hope it's me, not them, as that adds to an incredibly frustrating booking experience.

--I was able to get all of our FP+ experiences without having to change any ADRs. Phew!:goodvibes

--After booking A&E I kept getting error messages, where MDE wanted to cancel all of my FP+ before letting me move on to another day.

Overall, I'm so pleased that I got what my family wanted to experience to help us enjoy our trip even more. The glitchy website was really frustrating.

Good luck everyone!

I hear ya. We are a party of 14. Ages 6-62. Two different states. It was crazy. We did get A&E. Had them at 9 am, but when I confirmed, the system switched it out for Fairy Tells with Belle. I almost has a heart attack Went right back in and got a 5:30. We are going to do a lot of band switching on this trip. Seems easier than playing with FP+! We all did get 7DMT. Not all the same time, but it works. Now I just have to explain to everyone the Stand by fastpass! I just wish Disney would get their act together and quit changing things!

This was our 2nd go round with FP+ and I think this time was worse than the first. It was miserable, and I am functioning on 3 hours of sleep today, thanks to spending over 2 hours messing with that website last night trying to get things at the right time and get A&E.

Really, the only park we had trouble with was MK. Having done this before I was able to do the other parks pretty easily. I knew I wouldn't get an "option" that had the exact times I wanted, so just to pick an option that had times no where near what I wanted, so I could change them one by one to the right time without having to move things out of the way. I did those last and had no issues...well other than the fact that during this whole 2 1/2 hour process the website kicked me out or shut down or glitched several times. At one point, I even tried to do it through the MDE app on on phone to see if that was easier, but I couldn't get that to even work at all!

MK was a disaster. A big part of that was probably A&E. I tried to book them near the end of our trip and absolutely nothing. Plus trying wound up screwing up all of our FPs for that day and made a mess I spent a long time cleaning up (we basically each had different FPs for different things at different times by the time I was done trying to get A & E). I tried to book them in the middle of the trip and got an option that had it for all of us. I was excited! I took that option and hit confirm or whatever the button is, and then when it assigned the FPs, it had my 8 year old daughter seeing them by herself at 2:00 p.m. and had switched DH and I to visiting Mickey at 5:00!!!!! So I spent a large amount of time trying to individually set all of DH and my FPs to try to get one of us to overlap somewhere with her A&E time. Wound up with me at 3:20 to 4:20 and DH at 3:40 to 4:40, so I guess if I can't change hers to match, then one of us will take her in that overlapping window. I'm thinking about sending DH into the line at 2:59 before his expires and then have him just let people go ahead of him until DD and I can join him at 3:40.

To try to get A&E set individually and focusing on that before all the times were gone, I wound up with a bunch of other random FP+ for each of us individually, so I had to go in and try to switch each one to something we wanted to do and then get us all at overlapping or matching times.

I'm still not sure I'm crazy about what we wound up with for our times. I also have this fear that while DD told me absolutely not to get Space Mountain or Splash mountain because she doesn't really like them and didn't really want to ride them this trip, that the minute we get there she will change her mind and then I won't be able to switch anything for them and we will be stuck in long standby lines if she wants to ride. I so miss the days of being able to decide what you wanted to do when you got there and get FPs that day. I thought maybe the second go round would be a little better, but I hated it more. Especially after having a trip to DL this summer and not having to mess with any of this garbage.

On the bright side 7DMT wasn't that hard to get. We will ride it more than one day (assuming DD doesn't hate it). I did have to staggar our times a little, and we are not riding it in any time frame that we wanted to do so, but at least it doesn't conflict with an ADR and we got FP+ for it.

Also, I actually did wind up getting A&E all together on our departure day. We do not plan on going to MK that day, and I don't really want to do it that way, but if before our trip I can't get DD's time on the first day moved to overlap ours, we may just dump that first day and do it on departure day. I would really like to get it sorted out before our trip so that I can dump the last day and someone else can get it.
