Got a convertible!! Just back!

We did it!! We went to EA in Orlando for the first time. (For those looking for it, go downstairs to car rentals, find the National booth..then go out the door across from the booth, and into the garage..go up the escalator and turn left).

We were so disappointed, all that was there was four full size cars. I said to the lady..is that it? She asked if we would like a van..we said sure..and she wrote on a scrap paper, and said to turn that in, so we didn't get charged extra. As we were loading up, my adult daughter, spotted the convertibles (about 20 of 'em) across from the nice big mini vans (several types), and begged me to go ask for one. So I did..and she told us we could, but all our luggage would never fit. My daughter said she would put it on her lap..and she did. A nice red convertible!! What fun that was (my daughter and her son wouldn't admit how hot they were in the back..but we had air in the front). The only diff in the price, was the 3/4 tank of gas...that was $14.00 (1.44 a gal). We loved it!!

we saw a guy do something like that but no one was there

he was in the economy aisle and had a car chosen ....sunfire but the trunk latch was not w0rking

so he went over and took a convertible......wonder if he had to pay more....he had one of those eclipse....



saw it happen a couple of times while we were waiting.......just economy people not liking what they saw and going to the aisle of mid size or full size area and picking a car and driving off
