Got a CODE!!!

If you are in the Disney system(stayed there before), you can call and ask if there is a code attached to your name. That way if an email went to your spam or you didn't get a postcard, you will still be able to use it.

THAT is good to know!! Thank you! Are the current codes going out only for the value resorts or can they take some $$$ off at a moderate or other? Thanks for any help!

I read on another thread that you can use the code for other types of resorts. It sure can't hurt to ask...

Yikes! The last time I got a code I ended up in WDW on a spur of the moment free dining trip!

I was so excited to get the code too but then realized it came in my sisters name to my address.
The only remote thing my sister has done w/ Disney is go on a cruise w/ my mom and I a couple of years ago so I guess that is what did it.
Anyone know if I can use since it came to my house?
To add insult to injury, I was talking to my next door neighbor while we got the mail and I was all excited to see my WDW offer (until I saw my sisters name on it) and my neighbors got one too! They thought everyone got them. They went to DL last summer if that helps cracking the code.

I just got a code in my mail today too! I think it is only the second one I have gotten and I have been to Disney 9 times in the past 5 years and I am always playing with trips and signing up for stuff. So I think it is pretty much just a crap shoot as to who gets them. It's a really big cardstock mailer, so it would be hard to miss...I guessed shat it was before really getting a good look at it. On one side is a pic of the castle and a girl and her dad, on the other is my address, the Disney Destinations return address and a code with Offer Details Inside.

It does say to ask about packages and rooms at other resorts...has anyone ever used this for a package before? We would really like to go next December, and a discounted room rate would be nice, but I only do vacation packages so I can get 6 months 0% on my Disney car.

Also, it was addressed in my maiden name for some reason (I guess that is how I still am on the website)..but it is me and is the same address...think that would be a problem?

I haven't gotten a code but I already have my room booked @ POP for Feb 1-3 at $49/night. The code would make it the same, I think.

I got one too....well, my 4yr old DS got one LOL. It's the second time in 6 months one of my kids received a code. I've never received one in my name.
I already have the ASM family suite booked for June with the 4/3 offer but was thinking of cancelling it to save up for a nice end of August/early September trip. This code made that decision that much harder! I wish I got something for free dining...I wasn't big into it until I finally tried the dining plan this year. Oh well, 40% is nothing to sneeze at!

I've yet to receive a code. I have played around with rates on the website and have saved quotes. I have ordered the planning DVD. I have had a Disney Visa for the last 4 years and had an AP last year for DL.

I was excited about 2 months ago when a postcard from Disney Destinations arrived at my house only to find it addressed to my son in law who doesn't live here.

Here's hoping that maybe this year I will get one as we want to go in Dec 2009.
