Got a CODE!!!

That's great! Are you going to be able to use it? Anytime that I've gotten one, it's been for a period of time that I couldn't possibly go. That's the way my luck rolls. I hope you can apply it to dates you can go!

Happy for you! Can you share the details such as the dates that this offer is valid for?

yeah, I got that mailing also. Mine says 40% off at a Value, Standard Room for 9 different time periods

Jan 25 - Feb 12
Mar 1 - 14
May 31 - Jun 6
Aug 23 - Oct & Oct 25 -31
Nov 15 - 21
Nov 29 - Dec 5
Dec 13 - Dec 24

I'm booked at the Swan March 7 - 12th. I have an awfully cheap rate there, I don't think I'll switch. I might take a 2nd trip later in the year with my Mom -- I don't know.

It's either a complicated mathematical algorithm or dumb luck; no one is really sure how Disney decides who gets a code.

Some tings you can do to help your odds:
Order the trip planning DVD

Go to the reservations website and play with some dates and resorts.

Order a Disney Visa.

In other words, get your info into the system and let Disney know you're interested.

I am crossing my fingers for a code this year since we won't be able to take advantage of te 4/3 deal. A code is probably our only ticket this year.

Hmmm, thanks for the info!! I just ordered my new DVD the other night and have been playing with dates for 2009. We have no plans to go as a family but toying with the idea of planning a surprising trip for my Mom's 60th..so maybe....keeping my fingers crossed!!!! Good luck to you all!!:goodvibes

I was playing around with quotes on the disneyworld.com website a couple of weeks ago. Maybe that was it, I don't know. I also had an offer saved there that I never booked.

I think it does depend on visiting the website; it seems every time I go on there and play around with dates and resorts, I get some sort of related email from them. Last fall, I got three different emails with deals attached that way. Unfortunately, I couldn't use any of them!!

Anyone know if this is for room only or can you put it towards a package??

If you DO get the code, the reservations will have to be in your name to use it. In other words, you'll HAVE to go along with mom, poor baby :)

Oh darn...I never knew about these codes. What do they look like when they arrive? Junk mail?? My dates were listed in the PP and now I want/need/must have/will die without a code! I'm off to mess around on the website and order me up a DVD!

Mine last year was a big postcard from Disney Destinations.

Thank you! Usually anything Disney catches my eye...but it won't hold my attention unless we are planning a trip. I "think" I've gotten postcards in the past from them...

If you are in the Disney system(stayed there before), you can call and ask if there is a code attached to your name. That way if an email went to your spam or you didn't get a postcard, you will still be able to use it.
