Not sure if this is posted in the right place.. but a few months back my parents traded in their II for a 2 bedroom at OKW ( they love me so much!!:goodvibes ) As a huge disney fan, I have stayed lots of times at Disney hotel, done the packages, ect. But I dont know how to plan our DVC vacation. Can I still get a pacakage deal ( tickets and dining plan?) if so, do I still call that same number I always used before ( 1-407-939-6244)? Do the same rules apply about 180 days +10 for dining? Thanks for any advice. I am really looking forward to my first DVC stay!:cool1:

no you can't get a package but you can buy tickets and I'm not sure how trading in is handled for dining plans. I know DVC members can buy the dining plan as a stand alone.

And it's 90+10 for dining now.

There's a 800 number (member services's number) on the II confirmation. Call that number and DVC Member Services can set up Magical Express and you can set up your meal plan. I would probably buy my tickets through AAA or Undercover tourist (through the Mousesavers discount). You can buy them when you check in, though, through Disney. You will also pay a $95.00 fee at check-in to DVC (part of trading in).

And remember that you will not get daily housekeeping services, like a cash reservation. They are avalable at additional costs. You will get trash & towel service on day 4 of your stay (check-in is day 1).

So I have to buy tickets seperatly? That means that I wont have the "one card for everything deal ( entrance into the park, meal card, charging privilages?) I loved that!
Thanks for all the reply's:thumbsup2

Once you check-in, you can have your park tickets added to your room key. If you have bought your tickets through a discounter, simply present your ticket and room key to the concierge desk in the lobby. They will put them on your key.

Or you can buy your tickets when you check-in and they will be added to our key.

If you call Member Services and add a dining plan, it will be on the room key. You pay for the plan at check-in.
