I used them again today. We went hot air ballooning this morning. I mounted one on the rack above us angled so that you could see us and the scenery in front of us. I had the other on a head mount so that I could record video of whatever I was looking at while I took pictures with my DSLR. I'll post some shots later.

I don't have any video editing tools with me, but I did upload a clip straight from the camera. I recommend that you mute it as the audio is trash. The camera was in one of the sealed shells, so it just picked up mechanical noises.

This was shot using the tripod mount attached to a Manfrotto clip which was clipped to the metal frame holding the burners. The mount was as tight as I'd like it, so you'll see that the camera shifts dramatically when we "land". The landing was rather rough, although no one was seriously hurt.

The most interesting part of the video starts just after the 4:00 minute mark.

On a side note, I'm really loving Vimeo. As much as I love Smugmug, there is no question that Vimeo does video much better. Even cooler, I was able to watch it on my parent's Samsung TV using its Vimeo app without needing a computer.
