Google maps wants me to drive down Main Street USA!

I thought I would share a funny. I was looking up driving directions from LAX to the Disneyland Hotel and Google sent me up Main Street. Of course there was a little blurb that said "access may be restricted". Gotta love it.

BAHAHAHA!! Which direction were you supposed to go on Main St? I would think that to get to DLH you'd either have to drive out the Main Gate and through DTD or turn into Adventureland or Frontierland and crash the gate somewhere

Then again, how did they suggest you get ON to Main St?

It only makes me go up Main St if I go to Disneyland, if I enter Disneyland Hotel it doesn't.

That's too funny, although the other day I was getting directions via my Ford Sync system from Universal Studios parking garage and it wanted me to go through the back lot. Obviously that didn't work either!

I have also had google maps tel me to swim across the atlantic or pacific oceans, as wel as various harbors that have no bridges or ferry.

It told us that when we were looking up directions for Maui! I had forgot to change the zip code and it started us from our home town and we ended up in a kayak.

I wish they'd let Google street view go down the streets of Disneyland. I think it would be kinda fun to navigate through the park from my computer.

I doubt Disney will let the street view cameras in the park. You havE to play Disneyland Adventures on the kinect.

Yeah that sounds to be the most fun indirect experience of The Land.

There used to be websites, and may still be, where you could select a direction and see the photo in that direction. Some of these well predated street view and google.
