Google earth-see WDW aerial view-FUN !

Well, I am not the only one to not figure this out.......and then when someone DOES figure it out, they don't share!!! humph....

sorry... I just kinda played around with it for a bit.. once I downloaded it I couldnt figure out where it was.. I ran my mouse over the start button and there was an icon for Google Earth, so I clicked on it.. At the top left hand the button that says fly to should be kinda highlighted... in the box type your address.. example: 812 Patti Dr, Bedford TX and then click Search... just look at the earth and it brings you right to your destination... Hope this works for you..

OMG!!! the site was on my desktop (after I downloaded). this is sooooo cool!!! Thanks!!!
Now May I ask how you can get your ability to view really really really up close? is it difficult to configure your computer?

I put in my parents address and found their house and then found six flags too.. It is way too cool.. I looked at my house and it looked like a white car was in my driveway... hmmm.. I dont have a white car I just showed my kids and they thought it was cool

I had the exact same problem. Downloaded it (took forever, I might add - stupid dial-up), but can't get it to execute. Argh!

the icon should be on your desk top, is it? If not, look in your programs from the start-programs-google earth.

If you can see the map area, put an address or zipcode in the box in the upper left and click on search. Once the map moves to that area, rotate your mouse wheel, right mouse click and hold to drag the map.

I found I had to play with by display in control panel. I had to set my screen resolution to 1024 by 768 pixels to see up close. Just remember what you were at so you can put it back later.

I downloaded the program but I keep getting a message that it can't connect to the server. I know my modem is operating so I don't know what's wrong?
