No, they do something else for that age group. I believe they do a "sleepover" up by one of the pools, but you don't actually spend the night up there.
Does this include the shorter (4) night cruises? Can anyone provide more infor for my 5 and 8 year old (eg. which night, time and what they do and need?)

You can check out the navigators linked in the FAQ thread in my signature for the 3 & 4 day cruises to see which activities are for each age group. If they have them the kids don't need to take anything with them. Goofy doesn't show up for the entire activity. The kids plan a joke/trick and then he comes and they do it.
The Goofy PJ party is just a brief session for the kids in the club. The 7 & under crowd. It is actually very early and the kids do not spend the night. We have been on multiple DCL cruises and my DD went for the first time last cruise. She is 7 now, so we figured let her exsperience it. The reason she has not been able to do it in the past is because it is held during second dinner. We have always required everyone in our family to attend dinner, so she has never been able to go. By the time we finish dinner, the party is over. Our children do go to the clubs after dinner as we are very late to bed, late to rise people. So, she was able to go and says it was fun. They get to color a pillowcase too which she thought was cool. So no over-night thing...

They don't need anything. And as above, they don't really sleep over--that's why I listed it in quotes. It is a time for the kids to go to the programming in PJs (which the little ones can do any night), and is just a fun evening. DD uses it as an excuse to get me to buy new PJs that are not in any way revealing (Mom, there are BOYS there!)
I didn't see anything specific regarding a PJ Party for 10 year olds. However, they do a lot of stuff. My recommendation would be to review the navigators (click on Planning on the top of the thread) and see what kind of activities they do have. They usually don't change from cruise to cruise.
