Goofy's Kitchen or Chip & Dale Critter Breakfast?

If you want to see the most Characters, Goofy's kitchen is your best bet. We love Storytellers, but they have fewer characters there and sometimes only Chip and Dale.

This is another area where you will get many differing opinions!!:rotfl2:

I agree with Aristocat65 - there will be more characters at Goofy's Kitchen as a rule. Minnie & Friends has the most characters out of all the character meals, but the reviews of the food are consistently mixed. I have heard too many reviews of M&F's food being inedible or cold that I just haven't been willing to try it yet, even though there are others who think the food is fine.

Goofy's, on the other hand, I have been eating at since 1992. I love it. I think the buffet is really good - and it's a good quality for a buffet. Also, it is a very wide variety of food for a buffet - this is the largest selection of food out of all the character meals. I am happy with the number of characters there at any given time (and it can range from 5 characters to 8 characters), and I am happy with the service. Sure, I guess there have probably been a couple of times in 17 years that maybe the service was less than stellar or the food was not as fresh, but my overall experience there has been a consistently good one, and so I barely even remember those times when Goofy's was having an off day. But there are certainly people who don't care for Goofy's (though, for the most part, it gets high marks from the majority of folks who eat there). It's not for everyone.

Lots of people prefer Storytellers Critter Breakfast for the more laid back, calm atmosphere. It's a very nice, cozy restaurant. Goofy's is more upbeat and playful. Storytellers gives you the choice of ordering from the menu (which is not cheap) or getting the buffet (which is rather small). I've done the Critter Breakfast 3 times - twice getting the buffet and one time ordering from the menu. The last time I ate there in October the food was not good at all, but I think it was an off day! I have never seen anymore than 5 characters there at one time, and sometimes only 4, but I don't even mind that so much. I think 5 characters is fine. It's just the assortment of characters at the Critter Breakfast that doesn't excite me. I love Chip & Dale, but they are always at Goofy's Kitchen when I am there so I can just seem them then. I don't care much for the Brother Bear characters, and I could take or leave the other Critter Breakfast characters - Terk and Meeko.

I think Storytellers is ok. I don't think it's bad or terrible. It's just ok. However, there are quite a few DIS-ers who think it's the best of the character meal selections. I think I have had my fill of the Critter Breakfast for a while and will continue to eat at my favorite, Goofy's Kitchen! I also look forward to trying the Surf's Up with Mickey meal at the PPH, as that's the only meal where Mickey makes an appearance!!
