Hi -

We are planning to have dinner at Goofy's Kitchen during our July trip. Would love any feedback on this dining spot. Food, character interaction, food photos, etc...

TIA! :thumbsup2

We have always had lots of fun and great food whenever we go here. It's a favorite of ours...our daughter even got proposed to by the Mad Hatter lol :rotfl:Well be eating here again in August. Can't wait!

This is the first year we haven't done Goofy's Kitchen during my DB May visit. But we always have an early reservation as early as we can get it.

The food is decent. My extended family likes it because on one side of the hot dishes are your standard hot buffet offerings and on the other side, salmon, some kind of ribs, fried plantains, delish potatoes. And this guy carving in the middle...

We have always had great character interaction. Last year we had Minnie, Goofy, Aladdin, Mulan, Pluto, Chip and Dale ( I have photos of these with my niece and DGD) and my DD said that there were a few more that came while I was at the buffet so I don't have photos of them.

Cons: Price has gone up which is why the nine of us decided to skip a year. DN will not be as excited but DGD will be 2.5 and into characters. Also it can take awhile for them to seat you, so if your kids or your bigger kids are really hungry just warning you.

We've always had a great time here.

We really like GK, we get the earliest reservation, we since have switched to breakfast. We like the selection better, many times having the characters to ourselves.

We also favor the breakfast, and since we don't usually eat a large breakfast, we get the latest reservation and call it lunch. Dinner isn't bad though!

We enjoyed Goofy's Kitchen. We went there for my birthday lunch a couple years ago. The peanut butter and jelly pizza was great! The characters were great. We did have to ask for Goofy to come by because he always missed our table before he did the next show and the CM brought him over so I could have my birthday picture taken with Goofy. We did see Pluto, Chip, Dale, Jasmine, and Alice.

I haven't been there during breakfast, maybe we'll have to give it a try :goodvibes

We love Goofy's Kitchen for dinner!! Good food (as far as Disney buffets go- we've been to several buffets at WDW character meals and Goofy's is better than most of those), lots of characters, and great character interaction. We had the first dinner reservation when we were there a few weeks ago. It was great. We were one of the first tables seated. The characters did not have that much to do yet since it took a while for the restaurant to fill up, so some of them spent a lot of time playing with DD (5). I think Pluto came to our table to play at least 3 times- he and DD were dancing, hugging, tickling, snuggling, and just having a grand old time. We saw Goofy, Pluto, Snow White, Aladdin, Chip, Dale and Minnie that night.

Thanks everyone for your input! :thumbsup2 Looks like we are making a good choice. I know my 7 year old niece is going to have a blast! And us too! :goodvibes

I've been to Goofy's twice. One breakfast, One dinner. Overall the dinner experience was better! We were the second table seated so we had a lot of the interaction with out characters in that first little bit until the restaurant started to fill up.

For breakfast the character interaction was kinda meh... not bad but not great. Then again it was 3 adults but we all still love characters! The food selections seemed to be better at dinner. I am a breakfast food person but for the price I didn't feel I got my money worth.

Dinner is more expensive but with teh better character interaction there I thought it was better. I might try breakfast again but with a early reservation instead of mid morning.
