Goofy's Kitchen Dinner?

Sherry E, you are such a lifesaver. Thank you for finding this. Looking at this list, I'm sure dinner will work. I'd hate to rush our first morning in the park.

Oh good! You're welcome! I hope it ends up being a good choice for you.:goodvibes

That list was from 2/09 and I'm sure they have switched a dish or two since then for something else, like the types of chicken they put out may differ - sometimes it may be BBQ chicken, sometimes it may be sweet & sour or another kind. I think that when I was last there for dinner, many years ago, it was BBQ chicken and fried chicken. I think they will always try to keep certain dinner buffet staples out - always a chicken dish or two. Always some sort of fish. Always some ham. Always some sort of rice and potato sides. Always something with pasta. Always tons of salads and desserts. I don't know why Mouse for Less had the breakfast/brunch food mixed in with the dinner food on that list, but there are tons of choices at both the breakfast and dinner buffets.

We need some really detailed, comprehensive photos of all the dinner items at the Goofy's buffet - just like Disneynerd420 did with the breakfast/brunch buffet. The dinner is always a question mark in terms of food. People have eaten there for dinner. Other people who have done the breakfast know that dinner must have lots to choose from as well. But we see very little in the way of the actual dinner buffet offerings in photos.

Goofy's Kitchen is my god daughter's favorite place to eat and meet characters. AND we will be there Friday night at 7. Hopefully I will remember to take pictures of food along with the characters and will post them. And will attempt to make a list. My family thinks I'm crazy anyway taking pictures of food.

As for the food, my DDs (who are old) love the dessert bar and the kid's choices. My DH likes Storyteller's better for food and atmosphere but he's an old (60) so I don't know that counts when it comes to taking a young family.

This piece of info was interesting. The last seating is 8:30 and the characters are only on stage a short time after that seating. I originally had 7:40 dinner reservations and the CM said that the way the characters rotate and have to have time on and off stage, that we might not get a lot of character meeting time if that was important to my god daughter. So moved our reservations to 7 (which meant the relatives working in downtown LA will not be joining us for Friday dinner and my DH gets his wish to eat at Storyteller's on Sat for dinner so they can join the rest of the family)
