Hi all,

We've only been to Goofy's for brunch/breakfast. The food isn't stellar but we actually think its above average (especially compared to someplace like Chef Mickey's at WDW).

Is the dinner food OK? We made reservations for dinner but now I'm having second thoughts and might move it back up to brunch...

I've had some pretty horrible character dinners in WDW---the food was just nasty (Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's)...

(I've noticed that in general, character breakfast meals are better.)

How is the food at Goofy's for dinner? Do they offer Mickey waffles at all (DD's fave).

I thought the food was decent. I don't think they had waffles but they had a huge selection of food, from hambrgers and hot dogs to salmon on hickory. The desserts were really yummy!

It's nothing spectacular. It is a buffet after all. My DH really liked it, me not so much. There was a pretty large variety of food though.

My DH really enjoyed it, but he is picky and likes the buffet. I can go either way. As much as I enjoyed Ariel's, I'd probably choose Goofy's in the future for the variety.

Been to both breakfast and dinner many, many times. The wife and I prefer the dinner but, our boys prefer the breakfast. The dinner has a nice variety of food and desserts. I like the dinner foods more than the breakfast ones myself. The character interaction is better at dinner, at least when we have been there. Try it once to see if you like it...:cool1:

Hi! We did dinner at Goofy's Kitchen on our last trip with a large group (hence the buffet, trying to please everyone :rolleyes2). Even the picky eaters said they enjoyed their meals... I felt that the food was good, albeit standard buffet fare. We're more into character breakfasts, but enjoyed Goofy's for dinner and will probably try it again on another trip. Good luck with your decision!

Oh, and I didn't see any waffles at dinner time, otherwise I would have definitely gotten some! :goodvibes

Thanks for all the responses! I think we will keep the dinner, just to try something different. :goodvibes
